Happy Birthday Parker!!!

Friday was Parker's 33rd birthday!  He had to work all day so I picked up his parents who flew in the same day then we all went to Joe's Crabshack for dinner!

Here he is enjoying his crab...

Then we came home and had cake and presents...

Where was Tycee?  Fast asleep in grandma's arms...

Joshy made daddy a card and picked out a Snickers bar for him...
Jackson also made daddy a card (and worked on it for an HOUR AND A HALF!) and a milky way bar...
Grandma and Grandpa bought the boys these cool cars...
He had a pretty low key birthday but I hope he knows how much we all love and appreciate him.  Parker is an amazing father and husband and everyday we count ourselves lucky that he is ours forever.  WE LOVE YOU!!!

More on our time with Morrills to come...now it's time to hunker down and brave the "Frankenstorm" that's coming our way!!!

Jackson's First Lost Tooth

Exactly two weeks after his twin brother Jackson lost his first tooth!  He was eating his grapes at school and it popped out!  He came home with a tooth necklace from the nurse and was super excited.

Here's the hole...

 His cool necklace...
His note to the toothfairy, very specific...
He was SO cute this morning when he looked under his pillow and saw two dollars...it was like Christmas morning to him.  I wish I could convince him to save them to buy a real toy but he's dying to go to the dollar store and buy two cheap toys that will break in a day.  Oh well, it's his money!!

Updates

I have some random pictures on my camera and phone that I wanted to make sure got into my blog book so here goes...

The boys played outside for an hour just pouring water on the road and seeing where it goes and what kind of patterns it makes...

I love that Brody is always hanging out with us...
The twins put on a dinosaur puppet show for Parker and I the other day...
 Joshy adores Brody...
Friday night we went to a halloween party at our friends house in Clifton.  It was really fun...
There was face painting, balloon making, ice cream truck, pony rides, bouncy houses, treasure hunt, dinner, trick or treat, you name it!
Hahaha, poor Tycee has no hips or bum and his pants are constantly falling down...
 Cuddle time...
Homework time at our house has not been going well.  At least one of the two boys throws a fit almost every day...
The boys, Leah, and Sarah all watching Little Rascals...
Haha, I recently started up my cuckoo clock again after having it off since Tyce started crawling.  Tyce, Leah, and Sarah LOVE it.  Here they are anxiously awaiting for it to go off...
Jackson and Josh in their new clothes (new jeans and hand me down shirts from a friend on their football team).  I love how excited they get about new clothes...
Thursday night we went out to dinner to celebrate Parker's upcoming birthday with our friends Troy and Denise.  We, spur of the moment, decided to go to Texas De Brazil.  Expensive, but SO yummy!!!
In last weeks game Jackson and Josh each got the MVP for that game.  They both had a fumble recovery!
In this weeks game Jackson got to go out for the coin toss...(he's #6)
 After the game...

Nothing else too exciting going on over here but we are getting very excited for Parker's parents to get here!  They fly in on Friday and we're looking forward to some time with them!  :)

Fun with Grandma Barraclough

My mom recently quit her job as a pediatric nurse, something she has done and loved for 34 years, but now she has more time to come out and see us (well, primarily the kids but I happen to be here too!).  This was her first time out here without my dad and it was fun to have some girl time!  Here are some pics of the week...

She flew in just in time to make it to the boys football game...
It didn't take Tyce long to warm up to grandma...
My mom kept commenting on what a tease Tyce is, and she's right, he is definitely our family clown...
Love this picture, Jackson adores grandma...
With my dad not being here my mom had to assume the role of tickler...
We took the kids bowling, it was so nice to have someone to keep me company since Parker is gone so much now.  Jackson won, despite bowling with a cast on...

So you know those stupid machines where you pay like $1 and try to grab a toy, stuffed animal, ball, etc with that claw thing?  Total rip off, I never let my kids do those because they're always so devastated afterwards.  Well after bowling Josh wanted to do it, I said no.  The lady next to me said ya my kids have been trying for half an hour and can't get a ball.  Next thing I know Josh runs over to me to show me he got a ball!  Somehow, with no money, he managed to get it to work.  Haha, of course that happens to Josh.  SO...of course Jackson and Tyce wanted a ball.  I took them to Walmart to find a cheap ball for them...Tyce ends up choosing a $12 ball!!!!  I didn't know that's how much it was until I looked at my receipt.  I decided I had to return it, I could not justify spending TWELVE dollars on a little ball.  My mom and I tried many tactics trying to convince Tyce that we needed to return it, however he ended up sleeping with it and would NOT put it down.  The next day they were playing with it outside and he got hit in the face with it, suddenly he wants to return it!  BUT...since they were playing outside it's not all dirty and un-returnable.  Ah, it's only money right?  Anyways, here's Josh with his ball...

Sunday we watched General Conference, here are the boys playing general conference bingo...

Love this picture, Joshy coloring his missionary pictures while listening to President Monson...
Jackson and grandma cuddling...

As always seems to happen, the time flew by and Friday I had to drop her off at the airport.  It is so hard to say goodbye to my mom.  She's my mom.  She's the one I want in my daily life.  I dream every day of what life would be like living close to her.  Then I get sad realizing that is not reality, and may never be.  But I'm so glad she came and she really got to spend a lot of one on one time with Tyce since the twins were in school.  My boys are so blessed to have such a wonderful grandma...on both sides!  In fact...the other one comes in 2 weeks!  Parker's parents are coming out for a few days end of this month and we're super excited for that.  Yay for visitors!!!

Josh's First Lost Tooth

Yesterday after school Jackson and Josh were playing/wrestling outside and Josh ran in telling me his loose tooth fell out!  It had been loose for a few months and he's been really excited for it to finally fall out.

Here he is holding it up in the bag...

 There's the hole!
Haha, he wrote the toothfairy a note (I want a prize please)...
He woke up to $2 from the toothfairy and was super excited!  Jackson told us he saw the toothfairy last night, he saw her legs, wings, and said she was pink.  Josh told me "I'm not sure the toothfairy is real mommy."  I asked him who he thought brought him the money.  He said "hmm...I don't know, someone else who has magic powers...maybe like Santa or something?"  Hahaha, I love the innocence and never want it to end.
My mom leaves today so another post soon to come about that!!!
