We've had a FABULOUS time with Parker's mom while she was here. She came for a week which seemed too short, as always. BUT, we crammed LOTS of fun into those 7 days!
We celebrated Parker's 36th birthday with lunch in DC...
And a little family party that night...
Jackson and Tyce each, completely on their own, sent Parker on a scavenger hunt to find his cards they made him. It was SO cute and I was pretty impressed with Tyce's clues! Smart boy! I forgot to get pictures of them running all around the three floors for clues and their adorable cards but, suffice it to say, they were precious and thoughtful.
We went to Disney on Ice Celebrates 100 Years which was really cool, the boys loved it. At the end Tyce said, "I just wish it would have kept going."
So the boys begged me for snow cones so I thought, sure why not. The guy comes to sell them and they're TEN DOLLARS EACH!!! Crazy rip off but what the heck, they did come in cute Chip teacups from Beauty and the Beast. So I spent $30 on snow cones then not 2 minutes later...Tyce drops his face down on the floor. Grandma Morrill to the rescue, she bought him one more. :) That's $40 on snow cones, total. Spoiled boys.
Then we headed to lunch at GOLDEN CORAL! Haha, my boys had never been there before and they loved it.
Grandma and the boys made mummy candles that turned out super cute...
Tyce and Josh cheering on Jackson at his football game where he had his first fumble recovery! He was pretty proud...
Then we headed to Josh's soccer game! He played great but they lost and he was pretty disappointed. :(
Grandma bought them each a new sweatshirt, which they have worn every day since...Pumpkin carving time!
The finished products...
Josh was super secretive while carving and in the end turned it around SO excited to surprise me with his BYU pumpkin :) Obviously it was my fav :)
Tyce challenged grandma to a game of Battleship...
Frosting sugar cookies...Haha, love that Jack sleeps with his football! Needless to say, daddy was proud. :)
Since everyone else was in school we headed to Ticonderoga Farms! It was a BEAUTIFUL fall day and we pretty much had the place to ourselves...
They loved the pedal tractors...
Took a hayride out to the pumpkin patch...
I want one of these in my house...
Playing in the cabins...
Bamboo maze...
Josh roasting a marshmallow...Playing on the ship...
Feeding the goats...
Attempt at a cute picture...
Tyce reading to Grandma...
Time to say goodbye to Grandma! We will all miss her so much!
Twinners...
Thanks so much for coming out mom-and thanks to Bart and Tegan for sharing her with us! I feel so blessed to have a mother in law that is so easy to be around and that loves us all so much. I will miss her company, her interaction with my boys, our talks, and...honestly...coming downstairs to a swept floor and my dishes done. :) LOVE YOU MOM!!!
