Here's what we've been up to so far this month...
I woke up one morning to sweet Tyce having breakfast all laid out for everyone and this sweet note...
We watched the Superbowl with Jeremy, Kesti, and their boys. They had tons of fun. I LOVE having such a good friend who has boys the same ages as mine. They all get along so well I love it...
My dad took the twins and Mason skiing/snowboarding. Hilarious that Josh and Mason have matching clothes!
These guys love going outside but it was raining so they just had to look outside instead...
Orange day at school...
Linds and I headed to Oregon for our sisters trip!!! We really wanted Dana to come but she didn't want to make it happen, hopefully next year!
We were on a tiny plane and felt like the POTUS walking on...
Redmond airport rocks! So small, quick, and easy!
This was our first time seeing my parent's new house in Eagle Crest! It is absolutely GORGEOUS!
Hahaha, one of our favorite days was going to my dad's office/time capsule. He saves a lot of things and it was so fun to go through them! He still has (and uses) our caller ID from the 90s...
His car phone...
The speckled frog paperweight I made him in school...
A favorite toy he's always had in his office since I can remember...
His old camcorder! Hahahaha look how big it is!
And the case...
And the singing Christmas tree...
My mom spoiled Linds and I with yummy meals...
We went to Salem one day to reminisce of our childhood. We stopped by my grandpa's old office which really made me miss him...
Paddington's Pizza!!!!! SO yummy!!!! We also got to see Nicole and her new house which was so fun!
We went to Crossler Middle School where the only teacher still there from when I went there didn't recognize me at ALL but TOTALLY recognized my mom because "she hasn't changed a bit" which is so true!
My fav of our old houses...
SPRAGUE CHOIR ROOM! Many memories here!
Our elementary school...
We were so sad to see that the owners of one of our old houses is selling the adjoining lot! When my parents bought this house they wanted a big yard and basketball court for us, sad to see it being leveled and sold...
Our Illahee house...
We went to dinner at La Hacienda with Reynolds and Marleys which was SO fun and SO yummy!
More yummy dinner...
My parent's cat, Missy, is NOT very friendly or cuddly but I managed to get this close to her and I had to take a picture to prove it...
Warming up by the fire...
Time to say goodbye to Oregon, my awesome parents, their beautiful home, sleeping in, being lazy, being fed and doted on, doing whatever we wanted whenever we wanted...it was such a fun 5 days! I loved just being Jenn, not mom, wife, maid, chauffeur, housekeeper, disciplinarian, etc. Thanks SO much mom and dad for spoiling us and giving us a break from reality!!
Tyce made me a welcome home sign...
While I was in Oregon the twins had their last basketball game...
Cuteness these two...
See that? Ya, it's a broken sesamoid bone. I get to have foot surgery again!!! I'm super bummed and depressed about it. Surgery is scheduled for April 5th, I'll be non weight bearing for 3 weeks and full recovery is about 12 weeks. He said this surgery should be less intense than my navicular bone so I guess that's good?
Tyce and Bridger started their breaststroke class! Once they pass this one off they can join swim team!
Josh and Tyce had to make Valentine's boxes for class. Josh called me when I was at an appt and told me he needed to make one so I said "ok, make one." I came home and he had it all done!
Tyce had the grand plan of doing a cheetah one and his wonderful daddy, despite being so so so busy studying for the bar exam, helped him make one...
He won 1st place in his class and was pretty proud...
Cute kitties...
I helped out in Tyce's class for the Valentine's party, here he is with his bestie Bennett...
The boys had their annual scavenger hunt all around the house to find their Valentine's Day goodies...Tyce and Bridger play so cute together and they have these make believe games they play under their stairs in this little room. It's hilarious because every time he goes over there (which is almost every day) he brings SO much stuff! And they only live one street down but since he has so much stuff I have to drive him. This time he insisted on bringing his new boingo chair...
This time he wanted to bring all his weapons and stuffed animals...
Jackson came home from school not feeling well, slept from 4-7, ate applesauce then slept 8-8, and woke up feeling great! Super happy with how cute their bball pics turned out this year...
Joshy reading in his new chair...
Josh eating breakfast standing up so as not to move Luna, hahaha...
More cuteness...
Linds and I took the kiddos to a bounce house in Orem...
Jackson and all the kitties being lazy on Saturday morning...
This is Luna's favorite way to sit and I love it...
Josh has really surprised me since we moved into this house and he's had his own room. In Virginia he was my messy kid, always leaving stuff out. But now he really seems to take pride in his room and it's always super clean and organized! I was putting his clothes away one day and decided to take a pic of his closet..
Sunday dinner and games with Grandma Bybee! We try to have her over every Sunday and we all look SO forward to it!
Cute story about the twins...Jackson has a journal he writes in but keeps it hidden and private. One Sunday the twins were in Josh's room going through a bunch of his toys and Jackson really wanted this motorcycle of Josh's. Apparently they made a deal, Jackson could have the motorcycle if Josh could read one page of Jackson's journal! So Jackson ripped out one page and it happened to be his most private page (yes I peeked at it even though I wasn't supposed to!). He made Josh sign the bottom of it swearing he'd never tell anyone what it said. The whole page was about the girl he likes and it's so cute and so hilarious. But I just thought it was really funny that of all the pages Jackson chose that one to share with Josh because I think he really wanted him to know about the girl but didn't want to just tell him. So cute those two.
