Glenwood Springs Trip!

For Christmas Morrills gave us a trip to Glendwood Springs, Colorado with them!  We drove down to Helper, Utah the night before (since the train came super early the next morning) and stayed in a nice hotel.  The boys were in heaven with the pool and hot tub all to themselves all night...

The  next morning we got up bright and early and drove to the train station!

Three spoiled boys with awesome grandparents!
 Waiting to board!
Other than the VRE in DC, the boys had never been on a train ride.  They were SUPER excited about how different it was than an airplane.  No seatbelts, lots of leg room, you can walk around, use electronics, buy food, "no rules mommy!"  Haha, they flew SO much when we lived on the east coast this was a nice change for them.

Playing games...

We made it!  Largest hot springs in the US!

We had the YUMMIEST steaks at Juicy Lucy's!

Then we went to see the haunted Hotel Colorado...

We read all the ghost stories about what has happened at that hotel then Michelle, Jackson, Josh, and I took our own "ghost tour."  Not going to lie, it was freaky!

One of the super old suites...

Mom didn't want her hair to get messed up so, of course, put a bag on your head!
Waiting at the train station to go home...
Tyce asked if he could sit by me on the way home...
It was a super fun weekend with Morrills, so glad for the effort they make with my boys to have a relationship.  Definitely a weekend to remember!!!  Thanks so much to my AMAZING inlaws!!!

January!

First day of Snow Blitz and these boys were super excited!  It's a program through Salt Lake County where a bus takes them from school up to Brighton, they get to ski/snowboard for a few hours, then back to the school.  They really enjoyed getting to go with all their friends...

Hmm...to go out in the snow or not to go out in the snow, that is the question...
LOVE his arms up in the air by his head...
Jackson being silly trying on Luke's Oregon sweatshirt...
Bart and Michelle were staying at Little America for the weekend and they let us come swim!  I brought Kesti and her boys also...
Our boys play SO well together, they probably could have swam for four more hours if we let them!
But, we were hungry...
Sundays we love having Grandma Bybee over for dinner!
Jack was pretty stoked he can now pick up his daddy!  Oh, and he's wearing my sweat pants...and they pretty much fit him except he has to cinch the waist...
Cutie...
Good thing we have three banana chairs!

The twins got their temple recommends!
Luke and Emma got their tonsils out so we stopped by with a treat for them.  Of course, we had to get one for Audrey too...
Emma was super super sad because, "none of mine cousins will play with me."  I asked her what she wanted to play and she said "princess dress up."  Jackson heard her sooooo....best boy cousin award right here!
Boise bound!  I went to Boise for the weekend to spend time with my TARA!  Her husband was gone and she farmed out her kiddos so we had a super fun girl's weekend...

No bakes are our tradition.  Tara made hers "healthy" and I made mine normal, then we had a taste test.  Not surprisingly, mine were better...
Another Jenn and Tara tradition...Yahtzee!
LOVE this girl!  We've been bffs for 30 years and she probably knows me better than anyone.
Back to Utah...

I missed this guy a ton...
And these weirdos a little bit...
More Theo pics, sorry not sorry...

Tyce's fall basketball team...
Jackson came home from mutual one night like this...goodbye his favorite shirt!
Thursdays when the twins are at Snow Blitz I try to do fun things with my Tyce.  This week we went to Airborne then Freddy's for dinner and he brought his friend Dylan...
More hotel swimming!  Christine was out here for a tournament so I watched the boys for a few hours at the hotel...

Then back to the room for pizza...
Luna and Theo playing games...
Parker and Theo, passed out!
Family game night!

What's for dinner?
Emma turned 5!

Grandpa and Theo...
More to come!
