Update

Things have been busy around here...

Jackson picked out a new stuffed animal from the prize box at school, needless to say I wasn't thrilled to have yet ANOTHER big stuffed animal in my house but he has indeed LOVED it...

I thought it was cute one day the boys were all wearing similar colors, I miss the days when they'd let me dress them...

The twins had Spy Day at school, they were all excited about getting dressed up and looked super cool but then they got to the bus stop, saw that no one else was dressed up, and stripped down and shoved everything in their backpack!  Made me sad, I hate that they care so much what other people think of them.  I want my kids to be leaders not followers!  At least I got a cute picture...
I went with Josh's class to Jamestown (the first English colony in America) for their 4th grade field trip, it was a long day but very fun!  We met at the school at 7am and didn't get home until almost 7pm!  I was sad because, for the first time in five years of field trips, Josh chose to sit by his friend instead of his mommy :(

But you bet I made him come over for a pic with me!!!

I didn't see Jackson much but I saw him at lunch and snapped a quick picture...
Jackson's 4th grade school pic, pretty cute except his hair looks darker than it is...
Here's his class picture...
Same with Josh's hair!  Those dimples though...
Josh's class...
Brody LOVES our deck, he spends hours out there every day.  Lately he's decided he doesn't like waiting for us to let him in so he jumps up on the barbecue when I am at the kitchen sink and meows to get my attention, hilarious and SMART cat!  The other day Tyce decided to join him...
Speaking of Tyce, one night after dinner and after treats I was clearing the table and I found some broccoli all wrapped up tight in Tyce's napkin.  I said, "Tyce?  Why is some of your broccoli in here?" His response?  "I don't know mommy, it must've fallen off my fork and gotten all wrapped up!"  Little stinker stuck to his lie all night and ended up being grounded...
Bookworm Jackson reading with Brody...
Hahaha some of Tyce's artwork from school.  He had to write four reasons why he's lucky, #4 was hilarious...and not entirely accurate!!!
Loved his depiction of our trip to Williamsburg...
Daddy and his boys waiting for our table for a yummy steak dinner...
Josh made the all-star basketball team this season and had a great time playing with kids that were really good!  His team won so he was thrilled.

Love how they're both covering their faces...
Me and Anna Banana being silly...
Ah, another funny Tyce story.  So he got this love note from his new girlfriend Jordan...
Then he wrote her this one back...

Then a few days later he asks me if I can get his first love note he got last year out of his memory box so he could bring it to school and show Jordan to make her jealous!!!!  He's 6 and already totally playing the game!  So I dug it out, gave it to him, then when he was showing her in class he got in trouble so his teacher took it away!!!  He came home devastated.

Love Brody's arm on Jackson...
Jackson jammed his pinky finger playing football and didn't even tell me!  Tough guy didn't complain once but it looked awful!!!
One day I came home from Josh's soccer practice and Tyce had left this...
Yes, two bags of garbage on my coffee table.  He went all around the neighborhood and cleaned up trash because "I want to pick up the town and make it look nice mommy!"  Love him...
Jackson has been saying he wants to run 8 miles with me so Saturday was his first try!  He had never run longer than a mile and so I expected him to run two maybe three then be done.  I told Parker to stay by his phone and to come pick Jack up when he was tired so I could finish my run.  Well this guy is so determined he pushed himself to run 6!  I was really proud of him.  He tripped three times and kept running despite bloody hands, knees, and elbows.  He was really fun to run with and hopefully he'll keep at it!
Baseball season has begun!  Josh is playing up with the 10 year olds so he can play for his favorite coach.  It's his first season with kid pitch and he's still getting the hang of it...

Sometimes on the weekends I just let them read until they fall asleep...
