Fun with Grandpa...

My dad had a conference out in DC on Tuesday and Wednesday so he came home on the train with Parker on Wednesday night and stayed until this afternoon! It was super fun having him here and the boys were literally in heaven as Grandpa played with them 24/7. Something tells me he will sleep well on his long flight (in first class) home to Oregon. It was sad saying goodbye but him and my mom are coming in June for the twins' birthday! Yay! THANKS FOR COMING PA! WE ALL LOVE YOU!!! Now I've got to wash the sheets to get ready for my grandparents on Monday! =)

Jack Jack Jack, he has this new obsession with putting his hands down his pants and underwear. It's disgusting and I hate it. At least in this picture he has his hands on the SIDE (which is not usually where they are!)...
Jackson HATES to have even a drop of water on him. Last night when he was getting his drink before bed apparently a drop of water got on his sock and pants. SO...this is what he put on, haha...I grabbed the camera to take a picture of the twins and Tyce crawls over to me and does this face, so, naturally, I HAD to take a picture of him as well...They spent a lot of time having Grandpa draw silly pictures on their Magna Doodles for them...Joshy in a homemade "diaper"...Jackson in a classic Grandpa "hot dog"...They loved playing "Ned's Head" (this gross game where you draw a card then have to find whatever is on the card inside Ned's Head just by feeling. Inside are things like spiders, q-tips, dirty diapers, a tooth, a frog, throw up, etc) with Grandpa too...Why are they in their underwear? Who knows...Cuteness...
It was a fun fast couple of days but, hey, we'll take what we can get!!!

Trip to Utah...

Wednesday night Tyce and I flew to Utah for my little sister's graduation from BYU! She got her Master's in Accounting and I am so proud of her! Tyce was an angel on the plane...played super cute the first leg to Chicago and slept the whole way to Utah. We stayed at my sister's house Wednesday night then met my mother in law Thursday afternoon so she could take Tyce for two days! I didn't want to make him sit through 4 hours of graduation ceremonies. Sounds like Morrills had lots of fun with him and I KNOW he was spoiled by Grandma, Grandpa, and Tegan! He could've cared less to see me when we went to pick him up on Saturday, haha, which is fine! THANKS mom for taking him off my hands for a few days! You better have some cute pics to post on YOUR blog soon! =)

Thursday was the big BYU graduation which was nice. That night Jason made homemade pizzas and we just hung out. Friday was her Business school graduation which was LONG but nice.

Lindsay and I before the ceremony...
One of the highlights of my trip was getting to see TARA!!! She has been my long time best friend since I was about four years old and she came from Boise for one day just to see me! And support Linds of course. =) It was way too short for us, we could easily talk for a week straight. Hopefully she can come visit me this summer!? My little grad...
Lindsay and Jason...My aunt Denae graduated from BYU as well that day so we had lots of family there to support her and Lindsay! My proud parents with their last graduate...Friday night we had a wonderful dinner at Ruby River. Linds got some great gifts, this is what Jason got her for her diploma and tassle...Saturday we went and picked up Tyce from Morrills then went to Salt Lake to hang out at the condo with my grandparents. Tyce was an angel all day and night and here he is with his great grandma Bybee!Tyler, Jackie, and Cole stopped by the condo to say hi which was SOOO fun. It was so good to see them! Jackie is 8 months pregnant and looks great. Cole was adorable with Tyce. He kept saying, "lap lap" because he wanted Tyce to sit on his lap. He showered him with hugs and kisses. He was such a good cousin and will be such a good big brother soon! Is it bad that the pregnant girl looks better than the not pregnant girl? Haha...Saturday night my grandparents rented a room at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in downtown Salt Lake for my aunt's graduation dinner. After that, I gave Grandma her 75th birthday present from me and the cousins. I put together a "Book of Memories" for her from all (but one) of her grandchildren. It turned out so cute and I know she'll treasure it forever.

Sunday afternoon my parents took me to the airport and...by 3am...we were home safe and sound! Ah it was a LONG day/night! Our plane kept getting delayed. Poor Tyce was beyond exhausted but was an absolute angel. Literally didn't cry once. I'm lucky to have such a good natured little boy. He slept till noon today and woke up SO excited to see his brothers. They've been playing so cute together.

Where were the twins you ask? Thursday some wonderful people from the ward babysat them while Parker worked and then Friday Parker stayed home with them. They went swimming, got the car done, and took Jack to the doctor (more ear problems, poor guy). Saturday Uncle Shanee came down (he's living in Baltimore for the summer) and they went to a Nationals game, out to dinner, and got nerf guns-which they love! Sunday they went to church and had my yummy lasagna that I left for them. Sounds like they had lots of fun without me and thanks to my honey for letting me go, taking care of the twins, and for keeping the house clean (he even did the twins' laundry and washed our sheets!).

It was a wonderful week, but hard to leave everyone. The good news? MY DAD COMES IN TWO DAYS! THEN MY GRANDPARENTS AND AUNT COME THE NEXT WEEK! THEN CHRISTINE COMES THE NEXT WEEK! YAY!!! I love visitors! Keep them coming! =)

Week with Nicole!!!

Nicole, our family friend from Salem, came to visit on Wednesday! She's still here, we fly out together tomorrow to head to Utah for my little sister's graduation! Yay! I am SO excited to see everyone and very proud of my sis for graduating with her Master's of Accounting from BYU (one of the top three programs in the nation!). Anyways, more on that next week when I get back.

Nicole gave everyone a hair cut, but I only took pics of the boys... They got treats for being so "brave"...
Jackson quickly made it into Nicole's heart and they've been best buds...
We went shopping and got them new "basketball clothes." They're very very excited about them...We went to DC one day and went to the Natural History museum and the American History museum...The boys loved the dinosaur bones...Tycee and daddy playing...Jack was so intrigued by this bear that he walked right into the glass and hurt his head, haha, needless to say it was hilarious...Nicole and Tyce on the metro...Jack on the metro...Nicole babysat one night for us so we could go out with some friends for some much needed adult time. THANKS NICOLE!!!

It's been so fun having her here and I'm sad she has to leave but glad that we get to spend more time together in Utah! Yay!

Quick Update...

Friday night Parker and the boys went to Home Depot and Walmart to get some stuff for our front yard and came home with flowers and chocolate for mommy! It was very sweet of Parker, flowers for no special occasion mean a lot to me. Jackson was really excited about giving me pink flowers, of course...
Saturday we headed into DC for this Japanese festival down Constitution Avenue. Parker was really excited about it but ended up a little disappointed. It was VERY crowded and not quite what we were expecting. Regardless, the weather was great and it was still fun family time. We stopped at Union Station for ice cream and also went up to see Parker's office. Against his wishes, I took a picture of him sitting at his desk, haha. He obviously still needs to decorate! A post wouldn't be a post without a cutie pie in the tub! I like how he strategically covered himself with the cup =)Hmmm...where would be the diritest place to make a fort on mommy's floors? How about under the kitchen table where there's tons of crumbs and all kinds of food? Ya! Ah, kids...

All is well with us. Tyce can now crawl up ALL our stairs, crazy man. Nicole comes on Wednesday for a week! YAY! Then her, Tyce, and I fly to Utah for Lindsay's graduation! YAY!

Day with Daisha...

My friend Daisha came to visit today with her 4 kids and we all had a lot of fun! Daisha and I have been friends since kindergarten-she was the first one to be nice to me when I moved to Salem from California and held my hand and walked me to the bathroom! Haha. We have many memories together like: "the man," daffodiles, ballet, and a super fun choir trip to New York. It's crazy that we're both on the east coast now! They're living in Richmond for a year so she made the 1.5 hour drive up to visit me! Yay! We chatted as much as we possibly could with 7 kids being crazy! Other than the cat food/cat water mess and lotion all over my bathroom floor (they were "skating") mess all went well. It was so fun to catch up with her and to have someone to talk to that knows me so well from so long ago!
K I just took this picture and I can't move it down to the bottom for some reason but this is them, about 6pm, on the couch OUT like lights. I cannot even REMEMBER the last time they fell asleep on the couch! They must've played really hard! Here's the boys, Dominic is just a few months older than Jackson and Josh so they all played very well together... Claire is only 2 weeks younger than Tyce so it was fun watching them interact. Claire is super chill and just sits there while Tyce crawls all over her lap, then she pushes him off...haha it was hilarious! I think Tyce was showing off too because he climbed up two stairs today for the first time! Ah!

Daisha and I...All the kids cooperated for a picture! Yay!My boys...

Thanks so much for coming Daisha, it made my week!!! =)

Lizard Fun...

Jadeh came over yesterday with her new lizard, Gandolf, and the boys were really excited about it. They pet it right away but were a little more hesitant about holding it. Josh was pretty brave and held it for a while. Jackson didn't want to until I told him he could tell daddy how brave he was and then he did it in a heart beat! Ah I have a feeling they're going to want a lizard someday, or snake, or dog...ahhh no thanks!

Here's brave Josh... Don't mind the mad look on Jack's face, haha...
Brave Jack, he held it JUST long enough for the picture...Beautiful Jadeh, Jackson, Josh, and Gandolf!

In other news, TYCE IS OFFICIALLY SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT! I've been hesitant to post this because he always seems to change his mind but for a while now he's been sleeping 8pm-8am! YAY! I actually am feeling better. I am going to bed much earlier, getting more sleep, and the iron might be helping a little bit. I'm still weak but not exhausted like I was. Yay!
