Pumpkin Carving Throughout the Years

As I was looking through pictures of previous Halloweens I thought it'd be fun to post a pic from each year...

Pumpkin Carving

Sunday we carved pumpkins!  And by WE, I really mean PARKER.  :)  The boys each chose which type of face they wanted and gutted their own pumpkins then daddy took over with the knife.  Here's some pics (notice the Broncos shirt and the Redskins shirt...they played that day and the Broncos won, Josh was pretty bummed but the rest of us were happy!)...

 The finished products...

Jackson is such a bookworm like his mommy, fell asleep reading...
Daddy and Josh watching the game...
Haha this is how I found Tyce asleep the other day.  The good news is that since his surgery he's been sleeping with his mouth closed!  We are going in for another sleep study in a few months to make sure the surgery resolved the sleep apnea problem but the fact that he's sleeping with his mouth closed is a very good sign!
 Tyce doing the dishes...
That's what's going on in the Morrill household these days!  The boys are getting excited for Halloween, their last soccer game is this Saturday, and my parents just booked tickets to come see us beginning of December!

Happy 34th Birthday to Parker!

Saturday Parker turned 34 years old!  I'm so glad I married someone SO much older than me.  :)  Here are some pics from the festivities...

Friday night Denise and I drove into DC to have a nice dinner with Troy and Parker to celebrate...

Saturday evening we just had a little family party with cake and presents...

The boys each made daddy a card...

Lighting 34 candles was quite the task!!!
I hope he had a fabulous birthday and knows how loved he is by his sons and wife.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE!!!!!

Lindsay and Luke Visit Part 2

Monday we pulled the twins out of school and took everyone to Ticonderoga Farm for the day.  We had been planning on going for quite a while, what we weren't planning on was that Parker was able to come!!!  We were getting ready to pick up the twins from school and he calls me and tells me things were slow so he came to join us!  It was an awesome surprise!!  It was a beautiful day, not crowded, and the kids had a blast.  Here are some pics...

Daddy went down lots of slides with the boys, you should've seen his work pants after!!
 Josh, Luke, and Linds...
 They loved the jumping pillow...

Our attempt at a cute family picture, haha I didn't realize Jack was crossing his legs...
 Fun on the tractor...
 Hayride...
 Pumpkin patch...
 I love this little guy...
My sis and I in front of this super cool super old fire truck...

One last slide before we left...

We spent five hours there and my boys probably could've played longer but Lukey was getting tired.  We had a great day and we miss Lindsay and Luke so much already but are so glad they came to see us!!!!

Lindsay and Luke Come Visit Part 1

Lindsay and Luke flew in on Tuesday night and we were SO excited to have them!  The boys were totally surprised, they had no idea anyone was even coming.  I picked them up from the bus stop and headed to the airport.  Their guess was "the gray haired grandma" (my mom) and I was worried they might be disappointed because they do love her so much but as soon as they saw Luke they were super excited.  Josh actually hugged Lindsay before Luke though!  Jack was by far the most excited.  Here is part one of our fun five days...

At the airport...

Luke looked so big in the port-a-crib, when he gets home he gets his first big boy bed since his little sister will be coming soon to take over the crib!
 We went to the park...

 Played outside...
Had lunch with the twins at school...
Luke and Tyce at the twins' soccer practice...
Every morning they would watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse together...
Luke loved Auntie Jenn's stroganoff, he feeds himself SO well for his age!
 Reading stories with Uncle Parker...
 Cute cousins in their jammies...
They all thought taking a tub together was pretty cool...
 Watching cartoons...
 My little sis and I...

One more post to come!!!
