Visitors, Family, and More Fun in July!

Fun at Grandma's house wrestling with cousins...

Making cookies!

Mater came to visit again!
Grandma with all her Grandma Campers!
The beginning of the Dollar Ridge Fire...

We celebrated Michelle's birthday a day early so we all could be there...

4th of July fireworks!

Parade...

We had to leave early the morning of the 5th because Parker and I had to work.  Highway 40 was closed because the fire had jumped the road...so sad because so many people lost their homes!
These two have been extra lovey since Brody has been gone.  They LOVE to be petted, especially on their bellies, but they don't love to snuggle with me or sit on my lap like Brody always did.  I am really really missing him, especially when the house is quiet and I'm relaxing because that's when Brody would always come join me on the bed or couch.  Luna and Chester are just not that way and it makes me miss Brody even more.  Ah that kitty was so amazing.  I do love these two, they're just not Brody!

Josh bringing back some 80s fashion and totally rocking it...
Bridger and Tyce were the first to play in the new playroom!  It's not done yet but they still love it...
Now, as I said earlier, Luna doesn't like to cuddle ME or anyone else...except Parker.  She LOVES him!  He lays down for two seconds and she runs up and plops down on him...
Tara and her kids came from Boise to stay with us!!!  It was SO fun!  The kids actually hit it off well for never really meeting...
Tara and I have a long standing (and I mean LONG standing, like 25 years) tradition of playing Yahtzee together.  Tara killed me three in a row...
BFFs since we were 3!!!
Oh and ya, Jack is as tall as her HAHA...

Family game night every Sunday is like my fav night.  Josh is always in a goofy mood so he makes everyone laugh (Jack and Tyce think Josh is hilarious) and it just makes me feel so blessed to have such an awesome family...

It's softball season for Clyde Snow!  Parker rocks it on his firm's softball team and we love going to cheer him on, even if we have to drive an hour to watch him-he's well worth it!

And it's TACKLE FOOTBALL SEASON for the twins!!!!  Josh hasn't played tackle since he was 6 and Jackson hasn't played for a few years so I'm hoping all goes well.  Of course I'm nervous about accident prone Jack, let's pray his gear protects him and he stays injury free all season!  They went and picked up their equipment last week and tryouts are next week.

It was funny because I asked them to find a place in their closet for their equipment because I don't want it laying out.  So here's Josh's closet...

And here's Jackson's...
Bahahaha, hilarious these two how different they are.  Josh cares about appearance and organization and likes to please me.  Jack could care less about any of those things.
Cowabunga Bay with friends!!!

Lindsay and Jason took the boys boating one day while Parker and I were stuck at work (so unfair, I hate working in the summers).  They had a GREAT time of course...

Jack did really well on the wake board.  Josh hurt his back when he was getting up so he didn't try again...
Cousins!!!
Next visitor was...TRACI!!!!  Her and her kids came over Thursday and spent the night.  Tyce and the girls still play so cute together and William loved just toddling around playing with all our boy toys (mostly the cars).  Movie night...
Tyce and Sarah slept in the playroom...
Friday Traci took all the kiddos to Wardle Park to play while I was at work (again, boo working in the summer!)...
THEN I got OFF work and met Traci at our hotel in Salt Lake for our GIRLS WEEKEND-no kiddos no husbands!!!  Sarah from Virginia was also supposed to join us and we were super super bummed because she got really sick and had to cancel her trip out here.  We missed her and can't wait for next year when we do it again and she can come!  We had a fabulous three days/two nights together.  It just reminded me how lucky I am to have her in my life, even if she's on the opposite end of the country.  We spent lots of time lounging, chatting, laughing, and eating in the hotel...
Walking around the hotel...
We had dinner at Red Iguana one night (and forgot to get a picture) and The Mandarin the other night.  Both were DELICIOUS and we got super lucky because we got right in to both restaurants, and they always have super long waits.
The hotel was mostly super nice, except when the bathroom cabinet falls off and scares the CRAP out of us...
And when we can't get our DOOR open and worry we're going to miss breakfast...

Saturday we slept in, had breakfast, went to the Farmer's Market for a few hours, saw Ocean's 8, got a massage, dinner, then back to the hotel.  Sunday we slept in, had breakfast, then hit the pool for a few hours before we had to head home.  It was a much needed weekend away with my best friend and I love her SO much!!!  Hoping to see her one more time before she heads back to Virginia.
Another family game night!  Tyce won at Quirkle and was pretty excited!
I won at Uno Attack and was also pretty excited  :)
Truth or Dare Jenga, Josh had to imitate a pop star.  He was moving too much and I was laughing too hard to get a good pic but it was hilarious...

While I was with Traci Parker took the twins mountain biking, they have been asking to go for a long time and they finally found a time...

Beautiful view up there!
Tyce made some new friends in the neighborhood and they took him swimming one day while I was at work...
Gannon and Josh worked for about a week to dig a hole and make a "swimming hole."  I don't think it was quite what they expected but they had fun doing it!  And not so much fun cleaning everything up, haha.

Still can't get over these DEACONS...
Luna decided this was a good place to hang out...
