Visitors in Neola!

It has been a difficult past couple days. Tyce has been unusually fussy and the twins (Josh especially) have been acting out big time. I have been going crazy! I know they just have no idea what is going on, they have no real home, and they miss daddy but, so do I! I don't know if I can survive until Friday, I just feel so alone and so helpless. I need more arms, hands, and sleep!!! Sorry to complain, it's just been rough. The good news is that we have a place to live! Parker is getting us all moved in and has sent me some pictures, it looks pretty nice! Once I get out there (in a week!!!) I'll post some. Anyways...hopefully this week will fly by and soon enough our family will be together again.

Here are some random pictures...So on Thursday my friend Justina came out to Neola to visit! She has a son, Aiden, who is barely older than the twins and they have SO much fun together! I was so excited she came, I miss my friends! We spent the day throwing rocks in the pond, feeding the horses, going to the park, jumping on the trampoline in the sprinklers, and just having fun. It was a great way to get my mind off how much I miss Parker.

Here are some pics from that day...

Fun in Park City...

We just got back from a fun weekend in Park City with Morrills! Bart, Jackie, and Tyler ran in the Park City Marathon so Bart rented everyone a super nice condo and we were able to spend the whole weekend out there! They all did great but are very sore and tired!

Saturday after the run Michelle, Tegan, Tyce, the twins, and I went to Color Me Mine to paint piggy banks! The boys had SO much fun and I was surprised at their long attention span to do that! After nap we went up to the resort and went down the Alpine Slide, which was really fun! The boys thought the chair lift was pretty cool (I'm not a big fan of heights so I couldn't wait for it to be over!) They also got to play in some blow up bouncy toys which they loved. After that we went to a cute book store where Grandma bought them two books. Then on to ROCKY MOUNTAIN CHOCOLATE FACTORY for yummy carmel apples. It was a really fun weekend but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss Parker like crazy. The boys are missing him so much and it's going to be a long 12 (but who's counting?) days...
Speaking of Parker, HE FOUND US A PLACE TO LIVE! Let's cross our fingers that we get it, we'll find out tomorrow...
THANKS FOR A FUN WEEKEND BART AND MICHELLE!!!
Grandma teaching Jackson how to play checkers...Then, of course, Josh had to play...Mommy and her boys..."Mommy take a picture of me in this chair!""My turn!"Cute Josh painting his "efelant" piggy bank...Cute Jackson painting his puppy piggy bank...Poor mom with her herniated disc can't sit down so she walked around with Tyce the whole time...The boys thought they were SO brave going down the BIG slide...Climbing up the rock wall...Josh ruled the rock wall...All of us on the chair lift going up the mountain, we saw a mommy moose and her two babies!Auntie Jackie took Jackson down SO fast...Mommy and Josh went a little slower...Hahaha, on the way home Tyce and Cole were both crying and Jackson is in the way back saying, "mommy mommy mommy!" Jackie and I were just ignoring him figuring he was fine, I finally looked back and his whole car seat had tipped over! It was hilarious!Ok so I've been slacking on pics of precious Tyce. More to come I promise!

He's BAAAACK!!!

Last night at 3am I had just finished feeding Tyce and I went into the boys' room to check on them and I heard something rattle our front door handle! Brody does that when he wants in but I thought, no way is that him! I went and got Parker and he opens the door and, sure enough, it's BRODY! He was SO hungry and SO lovey! He is really really skinny so he was obviously somewhere where he couldn't eat but he wasn't very thirsty so he must've found water somewhere. I am very curious as to where he was, it's weird he came home in the middle of the night like that but, regardless, we are SO happy! Finally, SOMETHING is going right!

Anyways, I best get back to packing. Yay...

Sometimes Life Just Stinks...

So I'm feeling sorry for myself today, can you tell from my creative title? Haha. As we're getting ready to move to DC it just seems like so much is going wrong and, on top of it all, our wonderful family kitty is missing. He's been gone since Thursday afternoon and we are just devastated. If he could, he would come home. He's too smart to get lost so he's either hurt, trapped, or dead. I also feel awful because this weekend has been stormy and cold so if he IS alive somewhere he's probably just miserable! I just need to know where he is, I am crying all day and night! I can't believe how much we love and miss him. The other crappy part is we are moving out of this house tomorrow so if he DOES, by some miracle, come back-we'll be gone! =( I love Brody and miss him so much!

So today we are finishing getting the house packed up. Parker leaves Tuesday morning to drive our stuff out there and I am moving in with the in laws for 3 weeks. No, we still don't have a place to live yet. We are going to miss Parker like crazy, this will be the longest we've ever been apart and we are NOT looking forward to it. The boys are going to just die without daddy and Tyce will change so much in that time! Parker is not looking forward to the drive cross country, especially without Brody to keep him company.

Anyways, I guess I'm just not looking forward to much right now. I miss Brody, I don't want to move to DC, I'm going to miss Parker like crazy, blah blah. BUT...on a high note, Parker took the boys camping (but they ended up in the cabin due to the stormy weather) on Friday one last time and sounds like they had fun. He only got a few pictures because the memory card was full but here ya go...

Anyways, once I get all settled in at Morrill's I'll have time to post some cute pics of Tyce. He is the highlight in my life right now and I love him so much!!!

Update...

So I've totally been slacking on my blog, I know, but there's just been a lot going on around here! Tyce is doing great, he is such a happy little baby (except when he gets his diaper changed) and I just love cuddling him! The boys are adjusting well to him and love helping me with everything he needs. We are still house hunting for a place to live in DC, and it is really taking a toll on us. We just want to be DONE and know where we are going to live! Is that so much to ask? Apparently so.

On Thursday my parents came out for the first time to see baby Tyce! I was SO excited to see them and I was totally spoiled by my mom with two of my favorite dinners. I forgot how good of a cook she is and how lucky I was growing up with meals like that every night! Thanks so much mom! Her and my dad even cleaned out my whole fridge for me! They were only here a couple days and I didn't get many pictures...
Grandpa Barraclough and baby Tyce...The boys thought shucking (spelling???) the corn on the cob was pretty cool...

They left Saturday and took the twins with them to Salt Lake until Thursday! Sounds like they'll be spoiled rotten going to the zoo, dinosaur museum, water park, and the cabin so I'm sure they'll have fun! Parker and I are enjoying this time with no school, no work, and no twins! Our house is so quiet but it really is a nice change. I am trying to catch up on my sleep and sleep when Tyce does, since I can't do that when the twins are home. I do miss them a lot but
am trying to take advantage of them being gone. I am doing ok, just still very very sore and tired. The good news is that I weighed myself for the first time yesterday and I'm already back to my exact pre pregnancy weight! I was really excited about that. I still can't wait to get to the gym and tone up but at least I don't have to stress too much!

Saturday was Grandma Bliss's funeral and, unfortunately, I didn't get a single picture! The service was beautiful but I missed the graveside. We love Grandma so much and miss her but are so happy that she is now reunited with her husband who has been gone for so long.
Here are some random pics...
Apparently Josh saw DADDY do this and now thinks HE can do this...Uncle Shane flew home for the funeral and brought the boys a surprise...AIR JORDANS! Haha, the boys were SOOO excited...Jackson got black...Josh got white...They think the shoes can make them jump higher so they spent the whole night jumping...They love their Uncle Shane and have missed him...Riding on their space ships around the house...Here he is, the love of my life...An attempt at a family picture with three grumpy boys and a camera about to die...The boys like to join in whenever I'm trying to take a picture of Tyce, but that's ok...

Welcome to the World Tyce Parker Morrill!!!

He is here!!! My precious little baby is here!!! We got home yesterday evening from the hospital and are just loving all being together as a family!

I checked into the hospital Friday at 6:45am and they broke my water and started the pitocin at 8:30am. I moved very quickly and was dialated to a 5 and 75% effaced by like 10:00am. They gave me my epidural which, for some reason, only worked on one side. My left side was almost completely numb but my right side was not numb at all! It was awful because I could feel relief on one side and terrible pain on the other. I had forgotten how painful contractions were but Parker was SO wonderful to have by my side, he made them bearable. By then I was dialated to an 8 and fully thinned so they told me that I would just have to go on without the epidural working on the right side. I was devastated. NO part of me wanted to do labor without an epidural. They gave me something to slow everything down and I was able to sleep for about 10 minutes, when I woke up-I WAS NUMB ON THE RIGHT SIDE! Total blessing and total miracle. I wasn't completely numb but it was MUCH better than before! Anyways, I only had to push for 20 minutes and he was out! The doctor had to use the vacuum because his heart rate was dropping and making us nervous. The pushing wasn't that bad, just incredibly tiring! He came out crying and I just loved it! The bad news is that right at the end I tore pretty bad (third degree) so the worst part was sitting there waiting forever while he stitched me back up! Once all was said and done it was just heaven for Parker and I to be able to sit there and hold our big healthy baby, so different than when the twins were born.

Tyce was 8 pounds 3 ounces and 18.5 inches, bigger than I expected! He is such a good baby! He seriously never cries and is so content! He is eating good but doesn't usually wake up to eat so I have to remind him every 3-4 hours. I can't believe how much I love him and how fun it is to have him in our family. The boys have just LOVED having him here. Jackson especially is so sweet and sensitive to him. He is always so concerned with making sure his every need is taken care of. He is also very interested in what he is wearing and loves to help me pick out his outfits and get him dressed. When they first saw me breast feed Tyce they go, "Wow Tyce is SO brave!" Hahaha.

My mother in law watched the boys all weekend which was a HUGE help. My little sister and her hubby also came out and were a big help, thanks so much you guys!! Jackie, Tyler, and Cole came out on Friday too which was so nice of them! My parents are coming out on Thursday and I cannot WAIT for them to meet Tyce!!!!

I am so grateful for my healthy little angel and am loving the experience of just one baby. I can't believe how much he sleeps! But I am glad for that because I am just exhausted and so sore. In fact, I think I'll go take a nap while the boys are down. Enjoy the million pics!!!! =)

The night before we spent lots of time cuddling on the couch as a family of four...The morning of, goodbye belly!!!Gotta put the gross picture on...Wow I just had a baby!!Cutie pie getting all checked out...The boys first time meeting their little brother...A proud Grandma! The kids got restless fast so Auntie Christine took them for a ride on the wheelchair...Yay for our new son!Jack's hands were by his face so he could look "just like baby Tyce"...Gorgeous roses from my husband (with some suggestion from his dad, thanks Bart!!!) and some stuffed animals from the boys and Tegan (thanks mom!)...Cheeseball holding his little brother...Our attempt at a family picture...Very seriously contemplating the situation...Auntie Christine! I swear Tyce knows her voice more than most because we've spent every day together this summer!!!Auntie Tegan loves holding her new nephew...Auntie Dana and her kids came to visit on Saturday...Abbi cuddled up on my bed with me, I just love her...Daddy and his third son, what more could a guy want???Going for his first car ride, he was an angel!!!When we first got home the boys just could not get enough of Tyce...They love to kiss him...

This morning the boys were SO excited to see baby Tyce in our bed...

On a sad note, Parker's grandma (Michelle's mom) passed away yesterday morning. One came down and one went up! Our hearts and prayers are with you mom!!!
