NEW KITTENS!!!

Here's what we've been up to...

Traci came to town and we were able to get together for an afternoon and evening.  It was as if things were normal again, her sitting on my couch, us talking about everything under the sun, the kids playing adorable together, William being a perfect angel.  Oh how I miss it!!

AND...we got KITTENS!!!  So I saw on my neighborhood HOA facebook page that someone found two kittens abandoned in a window well in a construction area and were looking for a home for them. Well, we went to see them...and...of course...FELL IN LOVE!!!

Here they are on their way to the vet to make sure they're healthy before we take them home to Brody...

They got the all clear from the vet so we brought them home!!!  Meet Chester...

And Luna...

First time meeting they all hissed and arched their backs, which was to be expected...

For now their stuff is in our laundry room but soon we will move it out to the garage...

I am SO glad we were able to keep them together, they're brother and sister and are always together whether playing, sleeping, or eating...

When I saw Josh holding them he said "ahh, I can't believe how good my life is!"  So cute!  He's adorable with the kittens and has taken on the role of scooping the litter boxes and doing food and water and he does it EVERY single morning without me asking!  I am so proud of him!  He even vacuums up all the litter!

Luke and Mason came over for a cousin sleepover.  Lukey loved the kittens but was still more interested in playing with "mine cousins"...

More kitten pics...
Brody loves to perch higher than them and watch them like a hawk...

Cheering on Josh at soccer tryouts...
The twins had their 10 year check ups last week, Jackson was 4'11" (95%) and 76 lbs (68%). Josh was 4'7" (55%) and 66 lbs (33%).  The pediatrician noticed that Josh's back had a curvature so they did x-rays and he had a 25 degree curvature of the spine so we will be seeing a pediatric orthopedist in a few weeks.  We are hoping it is nothing that will require a brace or surgery but I am a little nervous.
Josh and his Luna...
These two need to learn they are NOT allowed on the table...
Josh has been trying out for a few different soccer teams and leagues and is getting a little worn out...
Friday we went to the condo to swim...

And Grandma Bybee spoiled everyone with, not one, but TWO donuts..

Grandma is healing okay from her accident but her bruises still look awful

 And...more cute kitten pics...

We went bowling with Linds, Jason, Emma, and Luke...
Love it when the smoke alarm battery dies at 5am on our sleep in day!

We're getting ready to celebrate TYCE'S birthday this weekend!!!!
