Update

March has flown by and here's what we've been up to!

Traci and I went out for a much needed girls night!  We are best of friends and see each other almost every day multiple times a day but we very rarely go OUT just the two of us!  It was so fun and SO what I needed after being down for so long.  It was the first full meal I'd eaten in a month and I devoured every bite from appetizer to dessert!

The hostess asked if we were sisters, we told her just best friends but wish we would've said no we are sister wives, hahaha, that would've been hilarious to see her reaction.  Often times we talk about how we'd love to be sister wives in that we both love each other kids, we love cooking and cleaning together, etc...however...neither of us are keen on the whole sharing a husband thing!  I feel so blessed to have Traci in my life.  I have truly never met anyone like her and have learned so much from her.  When I grow up...I want to be a Traci Stathis!
Tyce and Leah's school had a bedtime read so Traci took Tyce for me and I kept Anna for her (see, sister wives!).  Tyce had a blast...
The twins enjoyed time with Anna Banana.  We were eating dinner and Josh goes, "is this how you always imagined your family to be?  Two boys and one girl?"  Haha, smart little bugger that's EXACTLY what I always imagined!  Here's Anna supervising Josh's homework...

Jack had Anna cracking up laughing, it was adorable...
Brody LOVES my scooter and gets so annoyed when I need it.
The day my parents flew in Jack came home from school complaining of a headache.  He had a 101 fever so he laid down and rested.  April would have been two FULL YEARS of him not being sick!  Luckily he was fine after his nap and one dose of Motrin.  It was weird seeing him sleep on my couch, my kids never ever nap or fall asleep anywhere other than their beds or anytime other than bedtime!
"Stinky grandpa" and Tyce...
I love Jack's face in this picture...
Stitches and scabs starting to come off...
Brody looking cute...
Tyce using the famous bunny cup!  This cup has been around for a long long long time and been passed down from many grandkids.  Tyce loves it and it reminds me of my grandparents every time I see it!
Grandma and I took Tyce out to lunch...

I didn't get many pics of when my parents were here but it was SO nice to have them visit!  My mom took over with the food and dishes which was such a relief with my foot.  The boys enjoyed time with them and we are, as always, sad to see them go.  But..we'll see them next week!!

The other day I was on the phone with my sister and I walk in to the office and Tyce is googling "pictures of God."  He was in awe at all the pictures online and wanted to print them all off.  I told him he could pick two and we would fine more in the Ensign and Friend magazines.  He asked if he could make a binder with all his church pictures...so sweet.  He kept saying (while hugging the picture)...I am just so happy.  I've always wanted a picture like this, it reminds me of him."

Family steak dinner at Logans!  Jack and Josh devoured their 6oz steak!  Tyce stuck to mac and cheese...we'll convert him when he gets older...
Josh in his new clothes...
Tyce now has an email address and LOVES reading and responding to emails from family.  It's great for him to practice his reading, typing, and keeping in touch with our family out west.  He gets beyond excited when he sees messages in his inbox...
Family game night!  Tyce chose Twister...
Twins chose Clue...
Today is the six week mark for my foot surgery!  The stitches are gone and the bone is supposedly healed.   It's still swollen and sore and I can't wear a regular shoe.  Nights and mornings the pain is really bad but during the day it isn't too bad!  I am walking slowly but surely without crutches.  Next appointment is Friday so we'll see what the doctor says...
We had a surprise party for our neighbor boy who's home life is pretty rough right now so we decided to get him some gifts and throw him a little party to make him feel special...

It was a success and everyone had fun!
T-ball has started for Tyce!  We are trying a new league this year and he's on the same team as his friends Luke and Anthony.  He's loving it so far!

And, of course, these two adorable buddies...

Well it's now Spring Break and I am trying to keep us busy!  I'll post on the whole week after it's over.  We are looking forward to next week when the boys go to Disneyland with my parents and I am going to Utah and Oregon to see family!!!  :)

Update

Here's what we've been up to...
We had lots and lots of snow days where school was either cancelled or delayed.  Normally I wouldn't care but since I was down after my surgery it was hard having them home.  I was also bummed because I didn't get to go sledding this year.  :(  Parker took them out one Saturday and here's his pics...

Tyce making a snow angel...
Josh bawling cuz he got a face full of snow when he was sledding...
Trudging up the golf course hills...

Brody has sure enjoyed me being down!  He is my constant cuddle buddy!  It's hard to get comfortable sometimes so he gets annoyed at me moving around so much.  I love when kitties cover their faces with their paws...
Best of friends these two...
I was able to take my wrap off!  Now I just have to cover it with gauze and band aids every day after I shower...

My poor calf is SO atrophied!!!  I've lost 10 lbs since my surgery and I'm guessing most of it is muscle.  So sad...

This week we have had beautiful SPRING weather!  Jack was outside riding his 360 with the neighbor boys...

Josh was playing soccer with some older neighbor boys...

And Tyce and Siah were running races up and down the hills...

Basketball season has come to an end for Tyce.  He actually improved quite a bit but still was complete entertainment on the court.  He was known for skipping, dancing, doing random jumping jacks or airplane moves, picking his nose, and lots of traveling!  He made quite a few shots though and had a great time so it was a success!  Here's his team pics...
The twins just had their last regular season game and are now in the first round of playoffs.  They had a fun year and improved a little, not as much as I had hoped.  This last game they both did really well though.  They are at the younger end of the division so next year should be a little better.  Here's their team pics.  Jack's face in the team pic breaks my heart, you can tell he's trying not to cry.  He told me that night that there were some teenagers that were making fun of his smile while their picture was being taken.  Poor Jack is so sensitive.  Good thing mama bear was home in bed resting her foot or those boys would have gotten a piece of my mind!!!  Punks.

By the way, complete coincidence that both Tyce and the twins are both the BULLS!

Today Tyce and daddy have been hard at work making a leprechaun trap for kindergarten.  Here's their finished product...
We are looking forward to my parents coming, Spring Break, and the boys get to go to DISNEYLAND with my parents next month!!!  Fun times!
