Once There Was a Snowman, Snowman, Snowman...

After church today the boys asked Parker to make them a snowman. Tycee is really sick so he and I stayed inside but I came out to get a few cute pictures...

Here they are making the body... I think Josh spent most of his time eating the snow...
Taking a nap in the snow...

The finished product...After he got thrown in the snow by daddy...

Today is Tyce's 6 month birthday! I can't believe he's 6 months already! How did he celebrate? By having a fever, runny nose, and horrible cough. =( He is still so happy though, well, trying to be happy. He is such a good baby (during the DAY!) Well it's 8:15pm and the kids are down, I think I'll head to bed too! MAYBE I'll get some good sleep before Tyceroo wakes up. We'll see...

Painting Fun...

So I was in the office typing this blog and the boys yell, "Mommy come look at Tyce! His head is stuck!" Needless to say, I run into the family room freaking out and this is what I see...

Hahahaha, he emptied out his toy basket and then rolled right into it! The funniest part was that he was busting up laughing about it, haha.

Yesterday the boys did a fun paint project. They have been so excited to do it ever since I bought the stuff. Jackson painted a ceramic cat, a wooden bus, and a wooden truck. Josh painted a ceramic dog, a wooden bus, and a wooden truck. It was interesting to watch them because Jackson lost interest pretty fast and ended up having Jadeh finish his for him. Josh was very meticulate, wanting it to look good and making sure all surfaces were painted.

Here's Jack starting his dog... Jadeh and Tycee, she just loves Tycee and would hold him for hours...

Joshy painting his cat...Cute little painters...Josh's creepy looking cat...Happy guy, bouncing away...
Josh painting his bus...Jack painting his truck...Joshy's finished products...Jadeh finishing Jackson's truck for him...The finished cars...After painting I started laundry and came upstairs to see this...Story time with Jadeh, they really love her...

It was a fun night and now the boys are loving playing with the cars they painted. Best $0.47 I ever spent! Haha. So we've done no naps for the twins now for three days and have been putting them down at 8pm. It's hard during the day never having them down (we do quiet time, but it's not the same) but it's nice having them down earlier at night. The difficult part is getting them down by 8 though, because Parker gets home at 6:45 so that leaves us a little over an hour to do dinner and play with daddy before bedtime. But apparently Tyce got the no nap memo because HE has decided he doesn't want to sleep anymore! He's always taken an hour morning nap and a two-three hour nap in the afternoon, not anymore! But, don't worry, he's still up all night. AH!!!

"Cuddle Me for Lots of Times"

Every night after the boys have calmed down and are ready to go to sleep Jackson calls for Parker to come up there and give him a drink, tuck him in, put his Thomas blankie on him, etc. When Parker goes in their room what does he hear? "Daddy, cuuuddle me for lots of times." It is SO cute and SO impossible to say no to! So Parker, of course, lays down next to him and Jack wraps his little arms around Parker's neck and pulls him in close telling him he can't go. It is adorable. I try not to get jealous that Jackson steals my cuddle time with daddy, because I know these days won't last forever so we're trying to enjoy the moments.

Last night I finally grabbed a picture of the cuteness...Jackson just adores his daddy, I love it...On a different note, Tyceroo is doing good. He is sitting up so well and he loves it! Actually the past couple days he's been getting in the crawling position and rocking back and forth! Please no, I'm not ready to have him crawling around...goodbye freedom! Haha. He is still up a lot at night. He only eats once but he fusses for his binky about 2-3 times a night. We are TIRED and FRUSTRATED, needless to say. Lucky for him, he's cute and SO happy so we still love him. =) Next week is his SIX MONTH appointment, crazy, so I'll update more on him after that.

Here he is sitting up this morning...Josh had just woken up, "Mommy, I'm too tired to do my best cute smile-but I'll try for your blog." HAHAHAHA...Josh is such a good big brother, he absolutely LOVES to play with Tyce and Tyce's face literally lights up every time he sees Josh...This morning Jack runs into my room and says, "Mommy you HAVE to come see what I did!" I go into his room and he stands by his bed so proud..."I MADE MY BED SO GOOD!" Haha, I was proud of him and appreciate his efforts to make mommy's life easier...(and no mom, he did not MIDER (spelling?) the corners!)
Things are going well for our family. Other than Parker and I being tired all the time we are all happy. We are always meeting new people and making new friends which makes everything so much better. Parker's job is going well and he's looking forward to March when he goes on the "Manly Man Retreat" to McCall, ID to go snowskiing/snowboarding with my dad and two brothers in law. Don't worry, us girls will get our fun too but it's not till AUGUST...so far away but that's good because I've got to get skinny since we'll be laying by the pool all week! Anyways...that's the latest! Oh, and MY PARENTS COME TO VISIT IN 16 DAYS!!! YAY!!!

Oh, and there's a new video on the bottom of my blog. It's hard to hear but Tyce was fussing so Jackson laid beside him and sang him primary songs and was rubbing his back and head which is exactly what Parker and I do to the twins to help them sleep...it was so cute.

Chuck E Cheese...

Last night we took the boys to Chuck E Cheese. They played for over three hours and had so much fun together. Parker has taken them each there on their own but, as it turns out, they actually have more fun together! I think as twins they really do prefer to be together and really don't care if they have one on one time with mommy and daddy. That may change, but for now, I love it. It was super crowded when we got there but died down around 8pm so then they could do more without having to wait.

Here they are before all the fun... They were excited to see Barney...
Josh was, of course, amazing at shooting hoops...(and yes, he is licking his snot in every single picture-poor guy I think has allergies)Jack loved Bob the Builder...
The cutest thing here was how he would talk to the things he was hitting down, haha...Always tired daddy, and his cute little boy...Tyce did great, riding in the Bjorn on daddy the whole night...Cheeseballs eating the nasty pizza....Mommy and Jack...Stupid bike, the parents had to pedal it to make it go up...Mommy and Josh playing air hockey (I LOVE air hockey!)...Jackson loved taking the mouse for a ride...
The slowest moving carousel I've ever seen...Haha, Josh was like..."mommy this does NOT go very high!"...They loved watching Chuck the mouse dance...Enjoying some race car driving....

It was a fun night but now I am off to the gym to burn off that nasty pizza I ate!!!

Cowboys...

The boys got cowboy boots from Grandma and Grandpa Morrill for Christmas and they wear them every single day. They wake up, put them on (over their jammies mind you), then come downstairs for breakfast. They want to wear them everywhere we go but sometimes I make them wear other shoes. Today they had on all their cowboy gear then went up to their rooms to find their gloves and hats (because "that's what cowboys do mom"). They have been riding their horses around for hours. Haha, it's funny because they never would have learned any of this had we not lived in Neola for the summer. I love it!

Joshy with his beloved horse (who was in the bathroom in time out because he apparently BUCKED Josh off and Josh was mad, hahaha)...Jack's horse was out of time out and hungry for some hay, apparently...Daddy and his boys (Jack was in a bad mood)...After we bribed him, he was suddenly happy...Tyceroo got a new toy from one of my friends and he LOVES it...
Things out here on the east coast are going well. I am actually starting to like it out here. Of course, it helps that I have lots of visitors coming to see us in the next few months...YAY!!! Tyce is happy, huge, and still up a lot at night. Parker is still enjoying his job. Jack and Josh love going to the gym with me every day and playing with their friends and all the toys. I've made lots of friends out here and I really don't feel so alone anymore. But, I will always and forever miss my family out in Utah and Oregon. =( Love you all!!!
