Fun in the Pool...

The boys got a new pool for their birthday and it's finally warm enough to use! They have been loving it but, to be honest, I think Parker and I love it more! Haha! On Saturday we had some great family time just the four of us playing in the pool. Around 1:00 though, we put the boys down for a nap and laid out for over an hour in it, just relaxing and talking. It is an incredibly comfortable pool and we were just loving being outside but not being hot! However, we were stupid and got fried so now we're paying the price. So today only the boys got to play and we had to watch, haha. They had fun though, it's a great way to spend the day!

Gotta start off the day with a yummy popsicle! Did I mention I'm addicted to them this pregnancy also? Oh well, they're not TOO bad for me!!!Jack would climb up the slide and scare Josh...How happy do these guys look???Best of friends...Getting ready to do BIG JUMPS...Taking a break...Josh loves laying on his warm towel that's been sitting in the sun...Auntie Christine stopped by today and showed them how to blow water out of the noodle...Needless to say, they thought it was hilarious...Cute video of them playing...

It was such a fun day for the boys, I just wish I could've joined them! My sunburn is getting better so hopefully in a day or two I'll be in there too!

Fishing...

Monday night we headed up to the cabin for some family time and the boys learned to fish! Morrills got them Spiderman "fishing guns" which they were really excited about. Josh did amazing. I cannot believe how fast he caught on to casting! He only had to try a few times and then he was a pro! I was so proud of him! Josh amazes me every day with how fast he learns and excels at everything he does! He's lucky he got his daddy's genes! Jackson did well too, and they were both so cute! Other than the NASTY gnats that were out, it was a great night!

It was so relaxing, quiet, and pretty up in the mountains...Grandma helping Jack but since they had their hoods on she thought she was helping Josh the whole time! Haha...Jackson got cold so Grandma took on the terrible task of cuddling him, he looks miserable huh!?
On a side note, the boys had their three year check at the doctor this week! It went really well, they were both angels for the doctor and thought the check up stuff was funny! Josh laughed his head off when the doctor was checking his stomach and Jackson thought the ear thing tickled, haha. They didn't like the shots but brave Jack only cried for about one second, wuss Josh cried for about five minutes. But they are smart, healthy, adorable boys! Josh's weight is now in the 25% and height in the 50%! He's growing! Jackson's weight is in the 50% and height in the 75%! Yay! The pediatrician here just could not believe that they were NINE weeks early and have no problems! They are just perfect little boys and I am SO lucky!!!

Father's Day...

Happy Father's Day to Parker, my Dad, Bart, and my Grandpa!!! I know this is a few days late but we had a fun little Father's Day celebration over here on Sunday with Morrills. I missed my dad and wished so bad I could've been with him BUT, such is life. But you know I love you dad and you know you are my everything! I could NOT have asked for a better dad, how lucky am I to have you?! Ok now I'm missing you more. =( I made lasagna for dinner and had Bart, Michelle, Christine, and Tegan over. Here are some pics from the night...

Bart and his girls (we missed you Jackie!)...Parker's mom got him the Heman castle from when he was younger! He was excited to see it but the boys were confused as to whose toy it really was! Haha...Father and son...These boys LOVE their daddy...

It was a fun night! I got Parker a massage (which he will probably use right before the bar exam) and the boys got him some new work out headphones! He also got some money from his mom to go shopping for some new work clothes! Yay!

To all the fathers in my life, I love you! Especially you Parker. You truly are the best dad for our boys and I couldn't think of anything more I could ask for (except maybe that you had more time because we all love you so much and wanna with you all the time!). You are being a wonderful example to Jackson and Josh and I hope they can grow up to be JUST LIKE DADDY! They love and adore you beyond words Parker, and that is what matters. Happy Father's Day!!!

Fun in the Sprinklers...

So Nicole got the boys this cute little ducky sprinkler thing for their birthday that the boys have been dying to try out. She also got them new swim suits which are a little big but they didn't seem to mind! Even though it was a little cold for hose water they still wanted to try it the other day so I let them! They had lots of fun for about 20 minutes but then got too cold and wanted to get in the warm tub. They were so excited though and it made me ready for some NICE weather so I can set their pool up and let them just play all day!!!

I love when they hold hands...When Josh got cold he'd go lay on his towel that had been sitting in the sun...He loved spraying Jackson but not if Jack sprayed him! Haha...Oh ya, his swim suit wouldn't stay on so he stripped down to his undies...Brave Jackson, he must be mommy's boy =)This was last night, we had a cool thunderstorm then this gorgeous rainbow (actually rainbowS)! The picture doesn't do it justice but it was cool cuz it was so close to our house! The boys loved it!

Fun with Auntie Lindsay and Uncle Jason...

So I know this was almost two weeks ago but, better late than never! Lindsay and Jason spent the night with us after the boys' birthday party and spent the morning here before they took the boys to their house for the night and it sounds like they had lots of fun! My sis finally emailed me the pics so here ya go...
Playing play-doh...
They had SO much fun playing with their new squirt guns...Jackson chasing Jason trying to squirt him...The morning after their party Lindsay helped them do their new dinosaur puzzle from Grandma and Grandpa Barraclough, Josh did great but Jackson lost interest after a while...They took them bowling... She wore them out and finally put them down around 11...
Some pics Linds took at their party...
Thanks Lindsay and Jason for taking them, I know they had so much fun with you guys!!!

Precious Moments...

Yesterday in the tub the boys were talking and I overheard their conversation...

Jackson: Joshy, does Jesus love me?
Josh: What Jack?
Jackson: Does Jesus love me?
Josh: Yes Jack, he loves you a lot!
Jackson: Ok, thanks!

Hahaha, it was so cute to hear that Jackson is thinking about Jesus! I love my little angels!!!

Sisters Road Trip to Oregon...

I'm home! I got home from Oregon a little after midnight last night and the boys woke me up bright and early! Needless to say, I'm exhausted and really hoping for a nap today! My sisters and I had a lot of fun together and it was so weird to be home without husbands or kids! Unfortunately we had to make it a short trip so we didn't have as much time as we were hoping but we made the most of it!
Friday morning we all went to get our hair done by our DEAR family friend Nicole who is in beauty school, thanks Nic! Then we had to run some errands and went to a tour of homes thing (I love looking at million dollar homes that I will never ever be able to afford!). Friday evening we celebrated MY DAD'S BIRTHDAY!!! We went to pizza at Paddingtons and then home for banana cream pie, presents, and games! It was a really really fun night, my grandparents and Nicole came over to play games with us and it was SO much fun! My grandpa is the most hilarious person to play games with and we were up till 1am laughing like crazy! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!
Here we are at Paddingtons Pizza...My adorable grandparents...We all came home from pizza and went in our rooms to change and all came out in pink shirts!!!The fam, showing that dad is 52!!!!Dad opening his presents...The most delicious banana cream pie in the world, thanks mom!!!The birthday boy...My grandpa and mom cracking up at eachother...Just to make you all jealous of Oregon, LOOK at this view from my parent's deck!!!
Saturday night was fun because my choir teacher from high school was retiring and they had a very nice retirement party for him at my high school! I haven't been in there in years so it was really weird to walk the halls again! So many memories! It was a very nice program and it was so good to see Mr. C again! I am very very sad more people didn't come, and shame on all of you who could've/should've been there!
My sisters and I...Mr. C and all the Barraclough girls! We all got to go up and sing the Old Irish Blessing, it was so fun!
Sunday we drove home, I did ok on the drive considering I have a huge belly and am constantly uncomfortable. We took my dad's Lexus which is the most comfortable car in the world so that helped. It was so fun to be able to spend time with my sisters before I move so far away. I love them both and am grateful for our close relationship. And mom and dad, thanks for having us-it was SO fun to be home and I miss you guys already!!!!! Mom thanks for taking such good care of us, we were so spoiled and I'm sure I gained a ton of weight with all your yummy cooking!!!Love you!!!!
P.S. Parker added this new thing on my blog where he can upload the videos he takes on his phone to my blog-it's at the very bottom if you want to see it. The one on there now is of them doing karate, HILARIOUS!!!
