Update

Here's what we've been up to...

Thought this guy looked SUPER cute in his Oregon gear...
One morning the boys woke me up saying they had made me breakfast!  I was pretty excited and a little worried!  I came downstairs to this...haha pretend breakfast!  Josh said, "but mommy we made your favorite, strawberry waffles!"  Pretty sweet...
Tyce had his first ever public fit!  He didn't get the prize he wanted at the dentist office so he cried and cried and cried in the parking lot and wouldn't get in the car...punk!!!
SWEET FROG date with my boys...yes Tyce got all toppings and no ice cream...

Big news...TYCE FINALLY LEARNED HOW TO RIDE A BIKE WITHOUT TRAINING WHEELS!!!

He really has had no interest and will try like once or twice with Parker then be done.  A couple days ago Parker worked with him for about five minutes then he said he was done so Parker came back inside.  About five minutes later Tyce runs in and said, "I did it!"  We came outside and, sure enough, he was riding a bike!  SO proud of him!

He had just gotten back from his friend's pool, hence the cool outfit...
LOVE this pic, look at that proud face!

"Taking a break from all my hard work," hahahaha....
Family game night, these two were the "bad boys team"...

I know I shouldn't take pictures during prayers but, seriously, look how sweet he looks...
Morning snuggles with Brody...
Bowling with my boys...

Of course when we leave it starts absolutely DOWNPOURING rain...we got SOAKED running to our car...
A few months ago at a ward campout someone threw rocks at Jackson and, of course, it chipped his front tooth pretty bad.  Yesterday we got it filled and I think it looks much better.  Nevermind that the rest of his teeth are a disaster!  We will start orthodontia in January, not looking forward to the expense and time of that but it will be worth it when he has a beautiful smile!!!
Today while Jackson and Tyce have been fighting over a rock (yes, a rock) Josh was downstairs hard at work on his Lego City...

That's about it!  We're getting ready for Tyce's birthday this week, which he is so excited for!!!!

Jackson and Josh's 9 Year Stats

The twins had their 9 year check ups the other day and here are their stats:

Josh:
Height 52.5 inches (50%)
Weight: 62 pounds (50%)
BMI: 15.8 (40%)

Jackson:
Height: 56 inches (90%)
Weight: 72 pounds (75%)
BMI: 16.4 (47%)

They are both handsome, smart, funny, sweet, and HEALTHY!!!!  So grateful for the health of my little preemie twins!!!

Here they were at the doctor, embarrassed that she will see them in their underwears, haha.  Josh said, "gosh I wish I would have worn nicer underwear!"  Hilarious!

Weekend at the Coast Part 2

Sunday we headed to the Oregon Coast Aquarium!  Here's Josh with the jellyfish...
We loved the seals and sea lions...

Watching the otters get fed...
 Family pic...
Jackson in the shark tank...
Then we met up with one of my bffs from high school, Jamie!  It was SO good to see her and her cute family!  She was always such a good friend to me and she hasn't changed a bit!

Then we headed to the beach!  Sunday was a much more typical Oregon coast day (gray skies and a little chilly) but that didn't stop the boys!  Here's me...

And here's them...
Either I'm a wuss or they're really brave!  Maybe both?

Parker and I...
My man...
Josh dug himself into a hole...

Who's kids are these?  Seriously...
Time to bury Josh!

 Jack and Tyce's turn...

Parker had quite a good time burying his sons!!
Tyce the mermaid...
Monday morning we headed to the airport!  The first flight went well, then once we got to Chicago our flight was delayed and we didn't end up landing until about 1am.  I sat by the twins on both flights...
The twins both fell asleep on me and I loved it...

Josh woke up right when I was taking his picture...
On the second flight they were SO cute, chatty, and cuddly I loved it.  Jackson asked me what would happen if there weren't enough oxygen masks for all of us and I told him I would give them to him and Josh and I wouldn't have one.  His face fell, tears poured out, he unbuckled and crawled into my lap hugging me SOO tight.  "Mommy you can't die!  If there's not enough oxygen masks you can take mine, you can't die.  Please don't die mommy."  It BROKE MY HEART!!  He cried for a good five minutes and wouldn't stop squeezing me, what a sweetheart.

And Daddy and Tyce sat together...
Can you tell how much this kid LOVES his daddy?!

The boys were angels on the plane despite the delays and late hour.  So many compliments on how well behaved and handsome my boys are!  We got home and got to bed about 4am!  We are slowly getting back adjusted to east coast time!

We had a FABULOUS trip and I hope my boys realize how lucky they are to have had so much fun this summer.  Now it's back to regular life and they keep asking, what fun thing are we going to do today?  Haha, NOTHING boys!!!!  Go find your own fun!  School starts in three weeks!!!
