Great Wolf

Wednesday morning my parents left with all three boys to head down to Williamsburg Great Wolf Lodge!  They were so excited and wore their backpacks for like an hour before they actually left, haha.  Here are the pics my parents took...

On the top bunk of their "kids cabin"...
 Late night dinner at McDonalds..
Late night dinner of pizza in the hotel room...
Josh was so worn out, he has slept till 11am the past three mornings!!!
Tyce was too scared to stand with the raccoon...
Howling with their wolf ears and showing off their balloon swords...
Jackson all ready to swim...

Josh and Tyce all ready to swim...

At the waterpark...

So what did Parker and I do with two whole days ALONE??  Suffice it to say...it was wonderfully relaxing!  :)

Here are the pics from the rest of the week with my parents...

Playing Moose in the House with their wolf ears on..
 Frosting sugar cookies...

Friday night Jadeh babysat the boys and the adults went out to dinner and then went to watch Les Miserables!  We LOVED the movie!
This is about all the snow we got over the week, pathetic, but they were excited...
The morning before they left my dad, known to be quite the klutz, fell down our stairs and elbowed a hole in our wall!  Poor guy hurt his ankle but that didn't keep us from laughing!

Saturday morning they came with us to watch the twins' basketball practice then they were off to Oregon!  As always, their trip went by way too fast and we miss them already.  They do so much for us and we are so grateful.  LOVE YOU SO MUCH MOM AND DAD!!  Can't wait to see you again in March!!!

Christmas

We had a fantastic Christmas this year, and having my parents here made it even better.  Here are a million pics, sorry but there were just too many cute ones!

Christmas Eve putting cookies and carrots out for Santa and the reindeer...

Josh was pouting because he was being a punk that night so Parker took away one of his presents...
Santa brought Tyce a remote control Thomas train..
Santa brought Josh a switch and go dino...
And he brought Jackson boxing gloves and a punching bag...
Parker and I got them this kitchen, my mom got them the shopping cart and dishes...
Christmas morning waiting to go downstairs...
Jackson's new batman rain boots...
Josh was super excited about his new watch...
Tyce LOVES the Duck and Goose books so I got some more for him...
Jackson trying out his new gloves on grandpa...
We gave the boys each $20 to spend at their school holiday gift shop to buy for daddy, mommy, and Tyce.  This is what Josh got daddy, a Redskins football and Nationals stuffed animal, so cute!

All the grandkids (except Tyce and Luke) worked so hard on self portraits for my mom to hang in her new house in Utah...
My dad wrote a super cute 'twas the night before Christmas themed poem for the twins to read to find out that my parents were taking them to Great Wolf Lodge the next day!
20 $1 bills from Grandma Bybee = three really excited boys...

Grandma Morrill got Tyce this huge Mickey Mouse train set that he LOVES...
Tyce misunderstood my parents and thought they were leaving for Great Wolf that same day so while we were all eating breakfast Tyce went upstairs, got his stuff on, then came down and said "how do I look?  I'm ready to go!"  Haha it was so cute and SO sad when we told him he had to wait one day.
They all got new bikes too...
Jackson in the chef costume we got to go with the kitchen...
 They got lots of games...
Tyce trying out Jack's punching gloves...
Grandpa Barraclough spent almost the whole day putting these cool things together...
 What an exhausting day!!!
It was such a wonderful day, I love watching the excitement of my family when they open gifts.  More posts to come...pics of them at Great Wolf Lodge!

Bull Run Lights Festival

Wednesday night I took the boys to the Bull Run Lights Festival, something we've done every year since we moved here.  As usual, they had a blast!

All bundled up ready to play!

They loved this ride, it's by far the most "daring" of the rides...
Tyce was about a half inch too short to ride it but the guy let him on anyway...he was so cute and so brave...
Jadeh came with us too, here's her and Tyce on the carousel...
And on the carousel again...haha we love Jadeh!
Tyce holding on tight on the roller coaster...
 Teacups...
The twins ready for the roller coaster...
Jadeh's first time ever on a ferris wheel!
Tyce could've done this ride all night...
Cutest boys I've ever seen enjoying the views from the ferris wheel...

Before the rides we drove through and looked at all the lights which was fun. We missed daddy, who had to work, but he took the boys to a movie tonight so they're getting some daddy time now.  My parents come tomorrow...we're all so excited!!!  Let the festivities begin!
