New Scooters...

I went to a Mothers of Multiples Spring Sale with my friend Shasta this morning and got the boys these cute Spiderman and Batman scooters for $5! We were planning on giving them to them when it got warmer outside but, we couldn't wait because we knew how excited they would be. They spend quite a while riding around in the garage while Parker and I were up making pancakes, eggs, and bacon for breakfast...

Don't be deceived, it wasn't that cold outside...but they LOVE to wear their gloves pretty much every day, another thing they learned out in Neola over the summer, "REAL COWBOYS ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES MOMMY!" Hahaha!

Staying Home Is a Privilege...

Today while I was loading my fourth load of laundry for the day I realized something...I AM LUCKY TO BE HOME! I guess I have always taken for granted the fact that I am able to be a stay at home mom and not have to work. My days consist of sleeping until 7am, hanging out in my pjs until about 11am, going to the gym, come home for lunch and shower, put the boys down for nap and quiet time, enjoy an hour to myself, then playing with my boys until it's time to make dinner. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I live the EASY life! My days are mixed with poop, spit up, spills, messes, cleaning, laundry, whining, crying, fighting, screaming, cooking, bills, etc BUT, I still feel lucky that I am able to do this. As much as my kids can stress me out and exhaust me, I love them so much and wouldn't trade my time at home with them for anything.

I am so grateful for my hard working husband who goes to work every day to provide for his family. I love you so much babe, thanks for being so amazing!!!

Crawling Crawling Crawling...

So I'm in the office reading blogs and I turn around and what do I see? Tyceroo! He had somehow got from the family room all the way into the office! I can't believe how mobile he is now. He rolls, scoots, and kinda crawls. A lot of first time moms get excited when their kids start doing stuff like that, but not me! I know what this means all too well...my freedom is over! My house must be baby proofed! I have to keep an eye on him 24/7! Oh well, it was bound to happen sooner or later.

Tyce is doing well...still a great eater and still the happiest guy in the world. He slept through the night for three nights and totally got my hopes up, only to revert back to getting up a couple times a night. Arg!

The twins are doing great. They are such special boys. They have said and done lots of cute things lately...let's see if I can remember them...

*Them giving Tyce wet willies (thank you Uncle Shane for teaching them that)

*Jackson singing the Barney song (I Love You You Love Me) to Tyce to stop him from crying while I was making his bottle

*Joshy drawing me a picture and saying..."Here is a pretty flower for you because I love you so much mommy."

*Jackson telling me he wants me to go to school with him "for every day" to help him write his name.

*Joshy telling Jackson to not "wiggle his weiner and get pee on mommy's floor."

*After Primary on Sunday Jackson telling me, "Mommy I couldn't hear the Holy Ghost in class because Finn was being TOO loud! I was so sad because I wanted to hear it!" Hahaha.

*The boys reading their Book of Mormons to eachother as if they were Thomas the Train books

*During quiet time the other day they surprised me and cleaned up the WHOLE basement without me even asking...put every single toy away, and even in the right bins (even daddy can't seem to do that!) They came upstairs beaming, so proud of themselves!

*Josh saying, "TYCE YOU'RE DRIVING ME CRAZY! STOP DROPPING YOUR FRIEKEN TOYS!" Hahaha, I wonder where he's heard that from?

Well I'm sure there's more but that's all I can think of right now plus I've got to get the boys in the tub and get to the gym.

Here's them this morning after Tyce crawled into the office... Proud Tyceroo...

Fun with Mom and Dad...

I'm sad, my parents are gone. We had a great week together but, as always, it went by too fast. I love having my parents here, everything just seems ok when my mom and dad are by my side. I know that sounds juvenile, but it is just how I feel with them. The boys LOVED having them here and are so bored now that there's no one here to wrestle them all day and play games with them all day. Here are LOTS of pictures from the week, sorry there's so many but I want to remember everything!!!

Grandpa and his boys... Grandpa and Jack...
Jackson with his pink heart shaped marshmallows...Grandma reading the twins one of their new stories...
Frosting Valentine cookies...Tyce, Mr. Happy as always!!!Jack and daddy...Josh loves reading to Tyce...Tyce absolutely ADORED my mom...Mommy and Tyce chowing down on otter pops (don't worry, his isn't opened)...Cute guys in the tub...They are really starting to look alike...They had fun playing out in the snow...Granpa and Tyce...Jackson reading a story about Abraham Lincoln to Josh...Cute cold boy...Daddy even got in on the frosting action...

Thanks so much for coming mom and dad, it always makes us all so happy!!! Well now I have a month to look forward to when my mother in law comes! YAY!!!

Valentine's Day Fun...

We had a fun Valentine's Day this year, mostly because my parents were here! Yay! Friday night Parker surprised me and took me to a yummy dinner and a romantic night at a hotel, it was SO wonderful! My parents watched the kids, thanks so much you guys!!! I meant to get a picture of us at the restaurant but forgot SO...you'll just have to imagine Parker and I, eating, in peace and quiet, happy, and enjoying time alone together. =)

On Sunday after church the boys did a hunt for hearts with tootsie rolls on them. They had lots of fun and got so excited each time they found one.

Here's Jack getting the last one out of the tree... Showing me their hearts and tootsie rolls...
Jack was already chowing down on a tootsie roll so he couldn't smile...I got them each a Lightening McQueen car and a Mader car (from the movie Cars), they were really excited and have been playing and sleeping with them ever since...
They got a Valentine's package in the mail from Grandma Morrill and Auntie Tegan and they were SO excited...Josh loved his Winnie the Pooh card...Jack loved his Snoopy card as well...They got lots of candy and goodies but their favorite thing was their new DVD, Horton Hears a Who...they LOVE it!As if they haven't gotten enough...my mom and dad brought them Valentine's goodies too! They each got a bag of heart shaped marshmallows, strawberry Whoppers, and REALLY cute books...

Wow, so much candy in this house! Haha! My dad went home yesterday, we all miss him like crazy already. Luckily we still get my mom until tomorrow! After she leaves I'll post more pics of our week with them.

Imaginary Friends...

So Jackson and Josh both have imaginary friends that I decided to blog about so I don't forget about them later on. Jackson's friend is named "Gobby" and Josh's friend is named "Goldy." They are both girls and they both have "brown skin." Whenever we are driving somewhere they both point out the window to a van and say, there's Goldy and Gobby! Whenever we get the mail, I always have to give them something for Goldy and Gobby. Whenver I tell them no they say, "my friend Goldy's mom lets me do that" or "Gobby always gets to do what she wants at HERS house." Haha. Yesterday Josh was telling me about how plants need water to live and grow or else they will be sad and die. I have never talked to them about plants (those of you who know me know that that is NOT something high on my priority list, haha) so I asked him where he learned that. He said, "from Goldy." I told him Goldy wasn't real, where did he learn that. He got very mad and said, "Goldy IS real and she DID teach me that." I know I shouldn't have said that but I wasn't thinking. They are always wanting to draw pictures for Goldy and Gobby and always putting their toys in bags "to bring them to Goldy and Gobby's house because they don't have ANY toys!" I think it's cute and apparently very common and normal. It's another form of make believe and pretend play and it shows their amazing imaginations.

As for Tyce, I'm giving up. Haha, not really but I'm not going to bore you all with daily posts anymore. IF the day ever comes where he sleeps through the night...I'll announce it. =) Until then, let's hope I can stay sane and awake during the days while getting up five times a night.

Lastly, MY PARENTS WILL BE HERE ON WEDNESDAY!!! YAY!!! I'm so so excited!!! So I'll see them in February, my MOTHER IN LAW in March, NICOLE in April PLUS I'm going to Utah for my little sister's graduation, CHRISTINE is coming for ALL of May, then my PARENTS and GRANDPARENTS are coming in June! Oh and in July and August we're going to Eagle Crest for a family trip and a girl's getaway. SO, I have much to look forward to! I love you all for coming to see us!!!!!!!

Night 4...

Tyce slept from 8pm to 8am, waking up at 11:30, 3:30, 5:30, and 6:30. Ah!!!

Here are some pictures of the snow yesterday. The boys had SO much fun out there playing for over three hours with Parker and our neighbor kids!
Here's a picture Parker took on his walk to the train in the morning...
Haha, Josh really was having fun but got cold sitting in the snow waiting for the picture...

Church is cancelled today so we are lounging around the house being lazy, which feels pretty good actually! =)

Night 3...

I wonder how many more of these posts I'm going to have to do until he's sleeping through the night? Last night he slept from 8:30pm to 7:30am. He woke up fussing at 4:30, 5:30, and 6:30am. Better I guess?

We're snowed in this weekend, I cannot believe how much snow we have outside. It's so pretty though! I'll try to get some pics of the boys out in the snow to post later...

The Funny Things We Say...

As a stay at home mom I think there are many things that I say that are actually pretty funny but I don't realize it at the time. For example, today I opened up the fridge to get some milk out and what do I say?

"Why are there Book of Mormons in my fridge?" Hahahaha.

The boys have been "reading the scriptures" all day today and apparently they needed to get "frozed." It was funny because Jackson said..."Josh, this scripture says JOSHY CANNOT READ SCRIPTURES." Hahaha.

Night 2...

Well, last night wasn't quite as good as the first night. He slept from 8:00pm to 7:30am but woke up about five times. The good news is that he never really got to the point where he was screaming. He woke up pretty hungry and had a big breakfast. My parents will be here next Wednesday and my mom says I have to have him sleeping through the night by then because she will NOT be able to stand listening to him cry. Let's hope Tyce cooperates!

This morning they were all so cute sitting in my bed watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (their favorite cartoon)...

So yesterday we were giving Tyce a tub and Jackson goes..."Mommy, I love Tyce SO much that I want you to have ANOTHER Tyce." It melted my heart. Today while we were giving him a tub Jack goes..."Mommy, why didn't you have TWO Tyces like there's two of me and Joshy?" Hahaha, it was cute. They rarely talk about the fact that they are twins, I wonder how much they really understand it. It still amazes me how great they are with Tyce. They absolutely adore him and never get sick of him. My favorite part of the day is when I go get Tyce out of his crib and bring him into my room...the twins get SO excited Tyce is awake and Tyce's little face just lights up as soon as he sees his brothers. I love my boys!!!
Well I better get to the gym before the snow comes...sounds like we'll be snowed in all weekend!
