Jackson the Ninja Warrior

On Wednesday Jackson had his first belt test for his Ninja Warrior class.  I was unable to attend because I was at Girl's Camp but Parker and his brothers were there to cheer him on!  Here are the pics Parker took...

He got his gold belt!  He was really excited and proud.  Parker took them out to Buffalo Wild Wings (his favorite restaurant) to celebrate.  Here he is with Master Jeff...
As mentioned before I was at Girl's Camp this week, I always dread it then always end up having a good time when I'm there.  The girls informed me that my hair "didn't look like girl's camp hair" so they did it for me...

Last night the sunset was beautiful...
Jackson and Josh had their eight year check ups at the doctor.  It was hilarious because, for the first time, they were embarrassed at the thought of the doctor seeing them in their underwear.  Here they are waiting for the doctor in their "dresses"...

Their appointment went great!  Jackson weighed 65 pounds (75%) and was 53 inches tall (90%).  His BMI was in the 55%.  Josh weighed 55 pounds (50%) and was 50.5 inches tall (50%).  His BMI was in the 34%.  They passed their hearing and vision test with flying colors and the doctor was so impressed they hadn't been in to the doctor in over a year because they haven't been sick!  So proud of my healthy eight year olds!!!  :)

IN TWO DAYS WE LEAVE FOR UTAH!  CAN'T WAIT TO SEE EVERYONE!

Update

Fun at Fair Oaks Mall with Jake, John, Kenshi, and Tyce...

Before the twins got out of school we had a fun playdate with the little ones...

Puppet show at the library...
 Splashpad in Fairfax...

LOVE Tyce and Jakey with their arms around each other...

Fun at the pool with Traci and the girls, Anna LOVED floating in the water...she might be more brave in the water than her older sisters!

Parker was hanging curtains in the twins room (straddling the beds) and they were bothering him by poking sticks at him...they thought it was hilarious...Parker...did not...

The last day of school they walk in...so sad...
Then burst into tears...they were devastated to leave their friends.  They pretty much cried all day...
Took a trip to Dairy Queen...

Tyce learned to swim in the deep end by himself!  He can swim across many times and dive to get dive sticks...I am so proud of him!!!
 Family game night...
And the adorableness that is Brody and Josh, they sleep together every night and I dread the day he dies because Josh won't be able to sleep...

Josh's All Star Game

For the third year in a row, Josh got selected to play in the All-Star game with our baseball league.  He was bummed because he wasn't on his regular coach's team but he played great and they won by two!  Here are some pics...

Josh had a really really bad afternoon before the game, extremely grumpy.  His mood carried to the game and this is what he looked like during the awards ceremony, punk...

Tyce and his friend Jesiah, they recently moved into the neighborhood (his brother Miguel is in the picture above) and they have a lot of fun together...
It's been a fun season but I am glad it's over, baseball is very time consuming and I'm ready to get the crap out of my trunk and get the boys back on early bedtime!  Oh..and no more hot dogs and pizza from the snack bar!!!  :)

Father's Day!

Parker woke up on Father's Day to these cute boys wanting to give him his presents...
Tyce made him a mug in preschool...
 Cards...

All his loot!  He got clothes and running gear...
After church they begged daddy to have a water fight with the new guns they got for their birthday.  So, rather than relax on the couch like he wanted to, he headed outside...

I hope he had a fun Father's Day and knows how much his family LOVES and APPRECIATES him!!!

Side note...before the water fight Tyce got dressed in his swim stuff that the Easter Bunny brought him and said, "Mommy do you think the Easter Bunny has a girlfriend?  I do, because I KNOW he couldn't pick out an outfit THIS cute! I wonder how they kiss?"  Hahaha, love his little mind...

Speaking of Father's Day...I LOVE YOU PA!!!!  My dad was in Hawaii for Father's Day, which he well deserves.  Anyone that knows my dad instantly falls in love with him.  He is loving, sensitive, caring, hilarious, unselfish, giving, energetic, and...my favorite thing...he gives the best hugs.  Nothing makes me feel as good as when I'm in my dad's arms.  Him and I have always been close and I feel like he knows me in a way no one else does.  He can always make me laugh or cry and would do anything for his daughters.  HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DADDY!!!!  LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU!!!
