Update

Taking a quick break from packing to update my blog so I don't get behind with the move!

Anna turned THREE on the 13th (her and the twins share a birthday and Tyce calls them "birthday cousins") and so I took her to the store to pick out her present.  She picked this adorable Doc McStuffins thing and played with it all afternoon...

Kids watching cartoons together...

We said goodbye to our dear friends the Frimodigs!  Tyce will definitely miss Luke and Will...

And I will definitely miss Sarah, Doug, and little Levi!!!
Time to pack up the books and we realized we have a LOT of books!
One last gym pic with my gym buddies!  By the way I've never once taken a gym pic before I met these ladies!  ;)
The twins got new Legos for their birthday which kept them entertained for a while while I boxed up all their other toys...
Saturday we had a goodbye party for the boys!  It was funny because I told them they could invite whoever they wanted and Josh invited like 3 people, Jackson invited like 8, and Tyce invited like 30!  Hahaha so indicative of their personalities!  We had BEAUTIFUL weather and a great turnout and I'd say it was a success!

Jackson and his friends Kelvin and Muhseen...
You bet this guy wore and rocked his cowboy boots and sunglasses to the party!
Josh and his besties Peyton and Brandon...
Tyce and his favorite Japanese twins Kai and Kira...
Tyce and some of his friends that came...
My girls...
Jackson with his friends Izek, Kelvin, Haaris, Muhseen, and Brandon...
Josh's friend Andre from his soccer team...
Josh's teacher Ms. LaCava came which I thought was SO nice!  We will certainly miss her!
Josh and Josh...
Not five minutes into the party Jackson ripped his brand new shirt on the swing...
Josh and Brandon thought they were pretty cool hanging up there where no one else could get to...

Until Jackson joined them...

Poor Tyce got really really bad blisters on his hands from the playground and was pretty sad...
Lisa, Tami, and I...
Josh and Brandon on the swings...

Jackson, Josh, and Josh...
After the party we went to the pool to cool down...
Early morning snuggles with Tyce and Brody...
Our friends Betty and Julio had us over for a goodbye breakfast on Sunday, we will miss them so much!
One of Tyce's friends, Asher, gave Tyce a picture of him and wrote on the back of it for him.  Tyce put it on his nightstand "so I can stare at it as I fall asleep."  Poor guy, he is really going to miss his friends.
Josh got to go to the Potomac Nationals game with his friend Brandon.  They had a great time, it was a double header plus fireworks so they were home super late but he had so much fun!

And lastly, the view from my deck, the gorgeous green quiet view that I will miss so much...

I've got the entire house packed and ready to go except me!  We leave in t minus 3 hours for the airport!!!!  Goodbye Virginia!!!!

Happy 10th Birthday Jackson and Josh!!!

For Jackson and Josh's 10th birthday they decided to go to King's Dominion instead of have a birthday party.  I was happy with that because I LOVE riding roller coasters!  They also brought their friend Kayden who is super sweet and fun to be around.  The weather was perfect and the lines weren't long so it was a fantastic day!

Here we are when we first got there...

Our first ride of the day was the new one, Delirium, and it was intense but fun!
This was about how long most of our lines were!

Josh on the bumper cars...
The Anaconda really bounced our heads around and we all came off with headaches...
In line for the Intimidator which is the highest fastest and scariest roller coaster!

We all loved it and did it again!
Josh and Kayden riding in front on the Volcano...
All day they watched the clock waiting for their birth minutes (2:41 and 2:42).  Jack LOVED being "older" than Josh for one minute!  Here they are as TEN YEAR OLDS...
Lunchtime!  $15 per nasty burger combo meal...so not worth it...

After lunch we headed to the waterpark...
Obviously I couldn't get pics while we were on the water slides but here's one from the wave pool...
End of the day pic...
The souvenirs they picked out...
Since we got home super late we decided to do presents and cake the next night.  They chose Logan's Roadhouse for their birthday dinner...

Jack got new colors today, pink and teal...
They sang to them at Logan's which they loved...

Jack scooped the ice cream off the top and Tyce ate the brownie on bottom...
Then home for presents and cake!

Traci and the kids came over to join us and got them these...
More presents...

They were definitely the most excited about the money from Grandma Bybee which I didn't get a picture of because I was video calling Parker.  They are getting hard to buy for as they get older!  They both want to exchange the shirts I got them because apparently they don't like v neck shirts.  Josh didn't like the legos I picked out too SO we're going back shopping tomorrow to do some exchanges!  Rarely do I wish my kids were little again, I like this stage a lot, but I do miss being able to shop for them so easily!

Cake time!

I can't believe my twins are 10, it just sounds so old!  They have grown up a lot this year, Jackson has really matured and his behavior has improved ten fold!  I very very very rarely have to discipline him and he is thoughtful and so helpful!  Josh has matured also but he's going through an emotional time right now, not sure if it's hormones or the move or a combo of both but he's been a little harder than he ever has been.

The other day he peeked at his birthday presents hidden in my closet then lied about it.  That night he asked if he could read to me (which he hasn't done in a while) and he had picked this book!  Haha, love it and I think he learned his lesson...
And I found this on my bed...
I found a "future missionary" tag while packing and Tyce was SO excited to wear it to church...

We've been reading BFG every night as a family and it's been so fun cuddling on my bed and reading and laughing...
And finally, today is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!  We went to our old door so we could get pics in front of the same door that we have for the last almost 7 years...
