Twins

The other day I asked Jackson and Josh what it means to be a twin. Josh said, "it means to be best friends!" It melted my heart. I hope they are always best friends!

Father Son Campout

Friday night was our ward's father/son campout. Parker took off work a little early so they could head up there. Jackson and Josh have been SO looking forward to this. Actually, so has Parker. He took them shopping to get camping supplies and they each picked out a new sleeping bag. I had to get a picture of them before they left...Campfire with Josh "Billy"...Stick fights...Apparently one kid fell in the river, I'm surprised/grateful it wasn't one of mine...Josh's mouth stuffed full of marshmallows...Parker said they were SO tired when they finally got into the tent around 11pm, but they still really wanted to play a game so they played Trouble...Jack eating breakfast...Cute guys with their friend Yoshi...When they came home they were SO stinky and exhausted. We got them in the tub, let them play at the park while I got them registered for kindergarten, then they crashed during quiet time...
Sounds like they had tons of fun with their daddy. Parker is so lucky to have three sons to do stuff like this with. Jackson, Josh, and Tyce are so lucky they have a daddy who loves to do this stuff with them. Now if only I had a little GIRL to do GIRL stuff with. Guess I better learn to love camping! :)

Preschool Pics

The boys had their picture taken at preschool a few weeks ago. Parker thinks it's dumb that they are wearing graduation gowns but I think it's super cute. They only have a couple weeks left of preschool and then...they'll be in KINDERGARTEN! Too weird. I went and registered them on Saturday and met the principal, I really liked her and liked the way the school is set up. I hope the boys will like it too! Anyways, here they are...

Happy Mother's Day

My friend Kimberly and I went out to lunch yesterday at the Cheesecake Factory then went for hour long massages. It was SUCH a great day! Very relaxing and so what we mommies deserved! :) Thanks to my wonderful husband for happily watching the kids while I got pampered and thanks for Kimberly for the great company! This morning we went to church and the boys sang Mother Dear I Love You So in Sacrament meeting. My heart always melts when my boys sing to me. After church they gave me their surprises, cute handprints on oven mits with their names and dates on them. Very sweet. Parker gave me a sweet card and a whole Saturday to go get my hair done and get another massage! Yay for me! I also got flowers and a card from my sweet thoughtful mother in law! It's been a nice day, I just took a nap, now I'm blogging, then I think I'll go read! Parker knows that all I want on Mother's Day is to...relax!!! I haven't changed a diaper or washed a dish all day! I am so grateful to be a mommy to these sweet precious boys...

I am especially grateful today, of course, for my own mother. She's on her way home right now from a week in Florida, hard life she leads, but she so deserves it after raising three daughters! I heard that one of them was super difficult too. :) My older sister doesn't read my blog so I can say that. My mom is a wonderful person and I look up to her in so many ways. If you would've told me 12 years ago that I would actually WANT to BE with my mom someday, I would've laughed. I was a typical teenager. Now, I would give anything to be with my mom. Every day. All the time. We talk at least three times a day every day and I love sharing everything that's going on in my life with her. She loves me, my husband, and my children. She loves having them to her houses in Oregon and spoiling them rotten. She does so much for her family and for those around her in need. I feel so blessed to have been sent to her family and her care. I LOVE YOU MOM!!! I am also very grateful today for my dear mother "in-law." It sounds weird to call her that, because in so many ways she has become a real mom to me too. Mom #2 maybe? I remember being on the fence about Parker and I when we first met. Then I met his family, especially his mom, and my decision was easy. I wanted her for my mother in law. So I married her gorgeous son. :) Michelle is a wonderfully unselfish, giving, and loving person. She thinks of everyone else before herself. She treats me like her real daughter and loves me so much. It's comforting to know your mother in law loves you and "approves" of you. She loves my boys so much too. She is a very hands on grandma and my kids are so lucky. I LOVE YOU MOM #2!!!

I love Mother's Day, not just because I get to sleep, get massages, and not change diapers, but because mothers are SO important and deserve much appreciation and recognition. Moms don't get paychecks, promotions, and praise...we get pooped on, yelled at, and exhausted. But we are raising the future and that job is crucial. I am trying my best to teach my children so they can be examples of what's right as they get older. I am so grateful that both Parker and I were raised in homes where we were taught what was right and what was important. Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful women out there!!!

Tyce At 22 Months

Well Parker and the twins just left for the father/son campout so it's just Tyce and I home alone tonight! I decided to grab some pics of him and do an update on him...

Tyce is an overall happy boy. He loves to sleep, hates to eat. Loves his brothers, his mommy, and his daddy. He also loves all his friends at church and at the gym. His best friends are Leah (EAH) and Jake (AKEY). He is very social and friendly and LOVES to say BUH-BYE to everyone and everything he sees. He says goodbye to perfect strangers, inanimate objects, even his poop after I change his diaper. Haha, it cracks me up and I love it. He is talking really well and always gets my attention by saying MAMA and putting his face in front of mine. He loves my attention. He loves to clean up and clap for himself and say YAY everytime he does something good. He also likes to stand in front of the TV while his brothers are watching cartoons which really annoys them. He has definitely learned the word NO and uses it often. He loves water and is constantly drinking out of my water bottle. I love the way he says water bottle too, it's hilarious. First thing he says when he wakes up is, "where daddy go?" He loves his daddy so much. He is also SUCH a drooler! His shirts are soaked all the time. When will it stop? His favorite movie is Mickey Mouse Choo Choo Express and his favorite cartoon is Max and Ruby. He is my sweet Tyceroo and I love him so much!!!

Campout post to come soon!
