Update

OUR POOL OPENED FOR THE SUMMER!!!  It's a big day for us because we pretty much live at the pool all summer!  What else is there to do in the blazing humid Virginia heat?!  Kimberly, Jake, and Brianna came to join us...

The best part about the pool is how tired they are at night!  We had a family cuddle session watching So You Think You Can Dance and then they crashed in bed...
Jackson's spring school pic which I was NOT happy with!  He took off the super cute shirt he had on OVER his ugly football shirt and forgot to put it back on for pictures.  This kid literally lives in this shirt so I guess it's fitting that 's what he has on in the picture...
Josh's...
Josh's friend Peyton came over after school one day and they played Clue...
Brody getting some sun...
Tyce rockin it as catcher in his tball game!
More time at the pool...

We almost always have friends with us at the pool but this time just the three of them played the ENTIRE time and it was SO cute!  They are so lucky to have each other and I so hope they are always close!

Parker has been taking some time off of work and we were able to have an afternoon lunch date!  SO fun!

Haha, so a couple days ago Tyce came home from school SO excited to show us something.  He pulled this out of his pocket...
Apparently a girl in Ms. Gilbert's class gave it to him at lunch.  He says he doesn't know her name but she is pretty.  His first love note!  Too cute!

Parker and I celebrated our 12 year anniversary this weekend!  I surprised him and took him to a local hotel and we had a FABULOUS 24 hours!  It was much needed quality time together.  :)  Grateful for my friends for keeping my boys overnight so I could pull off the surprise!
Josh spent the night at his friend Peyton's house and sounds like he had a blast!  His mom sent me some pics...

Here's the fort they slept in...
They went to the Fairfax County Fair...
Josh said he loved the "scary rides" the most...
Ice cream at Nathans!!!

The boys were SO exhausted after their sleepovers!  Tyce and Jackson crashed by 7:15pm!
Tyce's tball picture, are you kidding me?!  In the team picture he was near tears because the sun was in his eyes.  After the pictures were taken he said, "mommy, just so you know...I will NOT look good in that picture because it was too bright!  If you want a good smile from Tyce you should have had them taken INSIDE."  Apparently he was correct!
Regular season of soccer has come to an end (he made the all star team so we still have a few more weeks of practices and a tournament).   We had the end of the season get together last weekend...

Noah, Josue, and JJ...Josh's fav soccer buddies!  Josh LOVES soccer and it's so fun to see him come out of his shell when he is out on the field.  He is fast, smart on the field, and his footwork is really improving!

Camping, Field Trip, and More Camping with Daddy!

Parker took the boys on their annual Memorial Day Campout at Lake Sherando.  They were planning on staying for two nights but ended up having so much fun the boys talked Parker into staying one more night!  Here are some pics I pulled off his phone...

Got the tent all set up...
They found a caterpillar, or caLLePitter as Tyce says it...

Parker was pretty impressed with Josh's fire skills, he loved manning the fire and did a great job.  He knows just where to put things and when to make a good fire.  He also got pretty good at roasting marshmallows because he figured out the best place to put them while roasting!

Tyce on the other hand...well...he was a good sport about all his burnt marshmallows!!!

Hahahhaa, apparently this kid was really nice helping Tyce catch stuff but...come on...pull your pants up!!!

Parker also chaperoned Tyce's kindergarten field trip to a local grocery store, Harris Teeter...

And then they went camping AGAIN for the ward's Father/Son Campout, just for one night...

They had so much fun camping with their daddy and their friends!  Other than Jackson's CHIPPED FRONT TOOTH :( all went well!!!
