October!

We spent conference weekend CLEANING AND ORGANIZING THE BASEMENT STORAGE ROOM!  It was organized when we moved in, but then between my two surgeries (when I couldn't do stairs) and all the neighbor kids and cousins playing in it, it became a disaster zone.  Ok, maybe not a disaster zone but for OCD Jenn, it was a disaster.  The whole family helped and we got it done pretty quickly!  I forgot to get a before picture but everything has a place and is organized so I am happy!  I have put the fear of God into the boys should they or their friends even go INTO the storage room!  I think since they had to help organize it they will be less likely to play in it.  Fingers crossed...

Here we are about halfway through.  Josh was a HUGE help, Jackson medium, and Tyce did the bare minimum.  That's about how it usually goes when we do projects.  Josh even went up and got the broom and sweept up the whole basement!  Without even being asked!

While cleaning out the basement we went through the sports jersey bin (we have TONS of them!) and they found their Bulls jerseys and some basketball shorts that Uncle Shane had gotten them like five years ago that finally fit!
Had Gannon over for dinner a couple nights, the twins decided they like eating with Gannon rather than Tyce...can't say I entirely disagree!  He eats whatever you put in front of him and doesn't spill!
Josh's soccer season has come to an end!  I am really glad we put him in it this year, even though sometimes it was crazy with football also.  He had a great season, was the star of the team, and his confidence really came back after the rough year he had last year.  I have always LOVED watching Josh play soccer!
So all three of my boys used their burp clothes as "loveys," they didn't have blankies or stuffed animals they carried their burp clothes around as their thing they were attached to.  The twins for some reason called them la-las, and Tyce has called them ya-las, not sure where the names came from.  Well, they are 11 years old because I bought them for the twins and we are down to three scraps!  Tyce is the only one that still sleeps with them but he told me the other day "I have three yala's, a big one that's the daddy, a medium one that's the mommy, and a tiny one that is the son."  Hilarious, odd, but mostly cute...
This is what I come home to most days from work...
And this too.  I get home about 25 minutes after the boys do, which I kinda hate.  I miss being there when they walk in the door from school.  BUT, I've been so proud of them they come home and get right to work on their homework.  Good boys...

Speaking of homework...the boys are into math that I don't remember at all so frequently they have to do some problems at night when Parker is home.  There was one problem even PARKER couldn't figure out!  I always knew the day would come where their homework was more than I could help them with, just didn't think it would happen this young!  6th grade!
Tyce had swim team practice and Linds and the kiddos came to watch and swim with the twins at the rec center.  I got to snuggle baby Audrey, who cries a lot when I hold her so she's just going to HAVE to learn to love her Auntie Jenn!

After swimming, they came over for pizza.  Jack was helping Audrey with her tummy time...

Then I snuggled her to bed...

Parker went mountain biking with a friend up this pretty canyon he really wanted to take us to.  He is such a Morrill and loves driving to look at scenery.  The boys and I, not so much.  But we were good sports (most of us) and headed up with him.  Good news-it was a short drive and really pretty.  Bad news-it was crazy windy so we didn't spend much time up there...

Cheering on our Oregon Ducks!  It's been a rough year for both BYU and Oregon, but we are still Duck and Cougar fans and always will be!
We were all kneeling down for family prayer and the boys all looked so sweet so I grabbed my phone to take a pic...and of course Josh has to be silly...
I love the days (or more often nights) where the boys all get in goofy moods and play SO cute together with all their costumes, toys, weapons, etc.  Saturday night was one such night...

Jackson gave an awesome talk in Primary about the priesthood.  He memorized the entire thing in about half an hour.  Weird to think that his next talk will likely be in Sacrament meeting!
So I go in one night to check on Tyce and see this MASSIVE hole in his bottom sheet!  I say Tyce why didn't you tell me you needed new sheets?!  He says, "it's ok mommy, it's been ripped for a long time so I've just gotten used to getting stuck in the hole."  Hahaha...
Grandma Bybee bought us all yummy donuts, needless to say, my boys were thrilled...
Hard to tell from the pic but I was laying on my side and Luna plops down on top of my thigh and laid there for like half an hour...
What's up?  I'm just the cutest kitty!
So Jackson was supposed to be brushing his teeth, I go in to the bathroom to check on him, and he is WASHING A DEER SKELETON IN THE SINK!  Apparently he and Gannon went exploring and found all these animal bones.  When I asked Jackson where he was planning on KEEPING these bones he tells me his bedroom!  Umm...try again I said...
Cozy place for Chester to sleep...
Tyce's Halloween costume came in the mail and BOY was he excited!!!

What is he you ask?  I don't even know...an orange blow up  guy I guess?
Michelle came in town and helped the boys decorate their rooms for Halloween, they've been asking for over a month when she was coming to help them, haha.  So glad she loves to decorate because I do NOT!

After decorating we ditched the kiddos and the husbands and headed to Gardner Village for our second annual girls night out!  We had a yummy dinner (the best spinach and artichoke dip EVER) at Archibald's then did some shopping!

Then we went back to my house to play games...

Poor Jack got hit in the lip AGAIN!  Hoping it doesn't do anything to his existing wound...
These two have decided they like to hang out in my shower after we get out...
Tyce had his FIRST swim meet!!!  He was really excited and a little nervous...
Love that this kid isn't embarrassed to stand in front of everyone for his mommy to take pictures...

He swam the 25 free, 25 breast, and 50 free.

Him and Bridger did so awesome!  Tyce got 1st place overall in his breaststroke!  He and Bridger were the only two swimmers in the 50 free and Bridger won!  Tyce didn't seem too bothered, I'm just so glad they have each other!
Brother and sister having an afternoon snuggle...
Abbi turned 17!!!  It really does seem like yesterday that I was in high school and got called to the front office because my mom was calling to tell me I was an AUNT for the first time!  I love my Abbi Lynn and am so proud of her!  We had a little party for her Saturday night...

All the cousins!!!

And, of course, I got to snuggle baby Audrey...
Josh's Halloween costume came in the mail, he's thrilled...
Tyce gave an awesome talk in Primary, he memorized it in twenty minutes!

We got Tyce this journal for his baptism and he told me he's going to write his "Holy Ghost moments."  Here's his first entry, so sweet...
Halfway through October!  More fun to come!
