Christmas, NYE, and More!

The end of the year is always a crazy but memory making time for our family it seems.  Here's how we spent the end of 2017...

Sweet Jack and I cuddling, he gives THE best hugs and snuggles I just don't want him to ever grow up...

Gannon turned 12 and the boys all had a blast playing at Airborne, although they spent less time jumping and more time flirting with some GIRLS!  Oh boy, so it begins...

New Christmas jammies from Grandma Morrill!

What mom?  Do you need your sink?
We were over at Lindsay's house and Santa came to visit!  Luke was thrilled and Emma cried hahaha...
Tyce got Student of the Month and was very proud!
Cameron riding the Batmobile...
Cameron left on Christmas Eve but left each of the boys a new Flipzoo stuffed animal...
This is what happens when you pick your nose with long fingernails...so gross and I think he learned his lesson...
Christmas Eve dinner at my parent's house...

Then home to get ready for SANTA to come!  Love the sleeping together tradition and hope it lasts forever!  Josh had THE hardest time falling asleep because he was so excited...
Poor daddy up late putting together scooters...
 And a mega car garage...
Jack and Tyce were UP and ready to go!  Josh was exhausted haha...
Christmas morning!
Nerf gun...

 Poster...
Water bottle, which was seriously one of his favorite presents...
 Headphones...

 Book...
 Bluetooth speaker for the shower...
 New Oregon outfit...
 Tyce's hot wheel garage...

 Jack got jumping stilts...
Oh the mess...

 Oregon gear for all!

We all had a fabulous Christmas, Jackson's favorite gifts were his bluetooth headphones, bluetooth speaker, trick scooter, Oregon shoes and outfit, nerf guns, and jumping stilts.  Josh's favorite gifts were his trick scooter, scooter ramp, nerf guns, bluetooth speaker and headphones, waterbottle, and clothes.  Tyce's favorite gifts were his hot wheels garage, nerf guns, walkies talkies, swim towel, and beanie boos.  Mine and Parker's favorite gift was our adults only trip to HAWAII!!!  My awesome parents are taking all the adults to Hawaii in September for 8 days and we are SO excited!  It seems so far away but I know it will come quickly.

The day after Christmas we had our annual cousin gift exchange.  We drew names about a month before and the cousins used their own money to buy each other a gift.  It's one of my favorite traditions because everyone is always so excited, both to give and to get.

Jackson got Livi a cell phone case...
Livi got Tyce handcuffs, which he LOVES and has used a ton...
Abbi got Jackson this awesome Oregon sweatshirt...
Tyce got Abbi these cute Utah State pajama pants...
Luke got Josh super cool Oregon socks and Josh got Luke some "weapons"
Everyone was so happy with what they gave and got...
We headed out to Neola for New Year's Eve weekend with Morrills!  It was so fun because the WHOLE family was there!  Jackie and her family came from Oregon so it was a full house and everyone had fun being together.

Josh got an airsoft gun from Grandpa and Grandpa Morrill which he was SO excited about and his cousins were fascinated by...
We got Cole this cute Oregon sweatshirt...
We went to see Ferdinand the Bull which was cute.  The power went out for a bit so we had a brief intermission then they got it back up and going.

Christine was NOT happy to have her picture taken...

Tyce, Lucy, Zae, and Luke playing with one of my all time favorite childhood toys...
New Year's EVE!!!  Michelle, Jackie, Christine, and I made goody bags for every hour starting 5pm for the kids to open which were a huge hit and kept almost all the kiddos awake till midnight...

Tyce and Kate playing with their punching balloons...
Dinner time...
Pie Face Sky High...
One of the goody bags had three puzzles in it, one for the big boys (Josh, Jackson, and Cole), one for the medium kids (Tyce, Kai, and Kate), and one for the youngest kids (Zae, Luke, and Lucy) and  it was a race to see who could finish first.  It ended up being SO close!  Tyce's team won by literally a second or less, it was very intense!  There were prizes and the big boys were bummed they got 3rd but were pretty good sports about it.

Another bag had glow sticks so we had a super fun dance party in the basement...
Another bag had these bead necklaces with cups on them so we had a marshmallow throwing game...

More puzzles with Grandma...
These two, so cute!
Playing Speak Out...
Parker was up until 4am working on his puzzle.  Josh and him are such puzzle lovers/night owls...
Finally midnight!  The last bag had a can of silly string for each kid and they had a blast with that (while the parents followed them around cleaning up).  Then they ran around the house outside banging pots and pans...
A tiny bit of the aftermath...
Bring on 2018!  Morrills are ready to rock it!
