Spelling Bee and Medieval Feast!

My boys (mostly Jackson and Tyce) were super excited for the spelling bee this year because they wanted to defend their winning titles from last year!  Tyce did awesome and won 1st place again!  He studied hard and knew all 270 words!

Jackson also studied hard and did awesome!  He ended up taking 2nd place (they had a tie for 1st) and he was super super super bummed.  He got out on the word inconceivable and he KNEW that one, he just forgot the i towards the end.  Luckily I was there though because on the second round he had the word "preferable" which he spelled correctly but the judge misheard and told him it was incorrect.  Luckily I was videoing it so I showed it to the judge and she was like, oops!  Bring Jackson back up!  Haha.

Sweet boy trying so hard not to cry...

We had a fun adults only dinner up at the Mandarin to celebrate my grandma's birthday and Lindsay's birthday!  It was fun and YUMMY!
The birthday girls...
The other day I look out my window while doing dishes and see Tyce and Dylan running through the field and laughing so hard just having the time of their lives.  It was one of those moments that made me so happy, to see how happy my son is here and how GOOD his life is!  They ended up having a "camp out" in Dylan's backyard that night and I don't think they slept much but they sure had fun!
Brody reading Sports Illustrated to Chester...
We went and visited Linds and her fam.  Sweet Audrey fell and smacked her head on the cement fireplace and cried.  But she cried MUCH harder when her bottle was empty and she wanted more!
Luna used to fit all the way under our dresser, seems she's put some WEIGHT on!
Jazz socks are perfect for church socks right?!  Oh Jackson!
I spent two hours cleaning the garage and it looked SO clean.  Then the next day all the neighbor kids were over and someone had popcorn and it ended up all over the nice clean floor!  Why do I even try right?!
The twins had their 6th grade Medieval Festival at school and it was so cute!  They dressed up, served all the adults a medieval meal of chicken legs, rolls, carrots, and a cookie, and did dances, jokes, and cool facts about that time period.   It was super cute and the boys did great!  Jackson did a few dances and Josh did a funny joke.

Ah poor Jackson...he was running outside and tripped and hurt his arm pretty bad.  We took him to Urgent Care and the x-rays were inconclusive.  The doctor thinks he broke the radial head but the radiologist said it was inconclusive.  So they sent him home in a sling and said if it hasn't improved in a few days come back for more x-rays.  Poor kid is so accident prone but is SO tough!  They had to bend his arm in all sorts of painful positions for the x-rays and he just gritted his teeth and got through it.  When we got back to the room he had huge tears in his eyes, Jack RARELY cries over pain.  We're hoping for a quick recovery so he can get back to playing basketball and football!
See's Candies was across the street from the doctor SO we had to stop in and get some...
Wonderful Michelle came out for the medieval feast so she was able to drive Josh to football and make dinner while Jack and I were at the doctor.
