Update

I decided to take a break from packing for Utah (we leave tomorrow!!!) and do a quick update on what's been going on. 

 

Jack failed his eye exam at school so we got to spend two hours at the ophthalmologist just to find out that his eyes are perfectly fine (I think he was pretending because he wanted glasses!).  Here he is in the waiting room waiting for his eyes to dilate, I just thought he looked cute...

The sky looked beautiful the other night and Tyce and I were talking about how much our Heavenly Father must love us to bestow such beautiful scenery on us...

Saturday Parker had planned on taking the boys to a movie while I cleaned and packed but that morning Tyce wrapped his arms around my neck, told me how much he loved me, and begged me to come too so "we could ALL BE TOGETHER AS A FAMILY!"  Needless to say, I could not say no to him!  The movie was actually sold out so we went bowling instead...and I'm glad we did because we all had good games and had lots of fun together. 

Going into the last frame Jack and Josh were tied at 83, poor Josh had the worst frame of the whole game and only got five down.  Jackson proceeded to get a spare then like eight more down so he ended up with 101 and killed Josh.  As sorry as I feel for Josh I much prefer when Jackson wins because he does NOT like to lose!!!  He asked me to take a pic of the score so he could "always remember when he broke 100."  Stupid me though didn't notice it was too bright, oh well...

Then we went to Dicks to get some snow gear for Utah and ended up spending more time and money there then intended, we love that store.  Then we headed to the Texas Roadhouse for dinner.  Josh loved his steak bites...

We leave for Utah tomorrow for Thanksgiving!!!  Better get back to packing!!!

Josh The All Star

Josh has been practicing the last three weeks with his NVSC (Northern Virginia Soccer Club) U9 all star team.  It was rough for him at first because he didn't know anybody and he is quite shy.  Eventually he became more comfortable and really enjoyed himself.  He loves soccer and looked forward to all the practices...

 

This was a beautiful day for practice..

I don't have pictures of the most recent three practices because it was dark, freezing, rainy, and windy soooo...Jack, Tyce, and I watched from the car.  :)  Josh didn't mind one bit though, he thought it was fun.

This weekend was his all-star tournament in Herndon.  It was his first tournament and he really enjoyed playing game after game after game.   It was 29 degrees when we got there and we were pretty dang cold!  Here's his very supportive brothers...

Jackson and Tyce were seriously amazing.  It could have been a long boring day for them but they just made their own fun and Parker and I rarely even saw them.  Jack took Tyce potty three times without us even knowing, such a good brother.  These two really have fun together, sometimes I think they should've been the twins!  Here they are playing tic tac toe in the dirt...

Saturday was fun, all the parents brought stuff so we had a tailgate/potluck thing going on.  It was fun getting to know the parents better and chatting.  We lost two games and won two games which placed us in 7th out of 14 which was a total bummer because they did two divisions for the finals on Sunday, 1st-7th and 8th-14th.  So we were at the bottom of the higher division.  

 

Josh crashed that night and Brody snuggled him... 

 Sunday was single elimination, seriously could this boy's dimples be any cuter?!

 

We played the #2 team and lost, 3-1.  The boys were very very disappointed, many tears were shed.  I was shocked that Josh cried because he's not usually an overly emotional kid and he's also never ever cried about losing anything.  He kept hugging me and I asked him why he was crying and he said it wasn't because they lost but because soccer was over. I cannot believe how much he grew to love soccer this season!  I am very proud of him and I really enjoy watching him play. 

Now I get to clean the soccer crap out of my car and get ready for BASKETBALL SEASON!  We have a three week break until that starts and we will enjoy it thoroughly.  :)

Grandma and Grandpa Morrill Come Visit!

Bart and Michelle came to visit last week and we had a great time! 

 

Grandma bought them a new book, Scaredy Squirrel, that they all loved...

While Bart was at a conference for CPE credits and Parker was working, Mom and I took the boys to Great Wolf Lodge!  They swam for a total of ten hours between the two days and were not ready to leave but we had to hurry home for Josh's all-star soccer practice.  Tyce was exactly 48 inches (maybe a hair short but they gave it to him anyway) so he could ride all the rides.  I was SO proud of him for riding the Howlin Tornado, which is the scariest slide there.  He was nervous but did it twice, everyone in line commented on how young he was to be doing such a big slide.  The lines were short so we went on the slides many many many times and it was 85 stairs up each time!  My foot really really hurt afterwards but it was worth it!  I love playing with my boys, especially in the water! 

 Tyce made a friend, Trevor, and they had so much fun together!

 Love the beautiful fall weather and scenery!  The two hour drive was gorgeous and no traffic!

All three boys fell asleep on the way home, which is rare.  They slept two hours in the car then Josh had to head off to soccer practice.  Jackson and Tyce crashed and Brody was so happy to have someone to sleep with since he was alone the night before..

 We got a sitter and went out to a yummy steak dinner as adults...

We had lunch with Tyce at school...

Mom and I got pedicures and went shopping for stuff to decorate my house, we had so much fun together and...as always...wish we had a few more days!
