End of Soccer Season

Saturday morning Josh and Tyce had their last soccer games!  It was SOOOO cold!  After Josh's game we brought his best soccer friend Alex over to play until the end of season party.  They had hot cocoa and cookies on the playset then, of course, played soccer...

Then we went to Tony's Pizza for Josh's end of season team party.  Here he is with his friends Alex and Elias...
The coach saved Josh for last and gave him the MVP Coach's Award.  I was very proud of him...

 Look at those dimples...

The coach came over afterward and whispered, "Josh do you understand that you got the highest award I could give out? Congrats!"  Josh is so humble he didn't even want to tell daddy about it!
Josh and Alex really had a lot of fun together this season and we will miss him.  He is 10 and will move up next year so they won't be on the same team.  Alex is a really really good soccer player and I think playing with him is a big part of why Josh improved so fast.
Tyce's last game was the same time as Josh's end of the season party so Parker went to the game and cheered them on to their eighth and and final LOSS of the year!  Haha.  After their game they had an end of season party at Subway, Josh and I made it just in time...

Tyce had fun in soccer this year and that's about it.  I don't think he learned much or improved much and I do not think we will have him play again BUT if he had fun that's all that matters!  I am relieved his season is over.

Josh tried out and made the U9 All-Star team so he will have practices the next two weeks then a big tournament!  Looking forward to watching him play a little bit more!
