I took the twins school clothes shopping for a few things to get them started. It's so funny how different they are: Jackson just grabs a few things and calls it good. Josh could spend hours and hours looking and trying on clothes. He has such a cute style though I love it. Jackson and I just sat there while he did his thing. In the car on the way home I hear him mumble to himself "I'm just so excited to see all these clothes in my closet." Love my little GQ boy...
They picked out new jammies, yes, full body lizard looking jammies...
We had to get Tyce a pair too...
Of course, more kitten pics...Josh has gotten really into the skate park so he used his own money to buy a trick scooter. He was beyond excited when it came in the mail and put it together all by himself...
I have been feeling so out of sorts since the move, scatter brained, forgetful, and clumsy...three things that Jenn is NOT! The other day I dropped my salt shaker and it broke...so sad it was my favorite one and NOT cheap! :( A few days later I dropped my flour container which resulted in flour EVERYWHERE!
We babysat Kai and Zae one day while Christine was at training at work. They are such sweet boys and we had a great day...
Stopped at Target to exchange the lizard jammies (yep, zipper fell off already)...
Then met Linds and her kids at the stake park. When we got out of the car Emma ran to Zae and gave him the BIGGEST hug! It was so stinking cute!
Look at these cute cousins...
And then we found a yummy pizza place for lunch...
Emma is obsessed with "Ackson Poo" and Jackson is sure in love with Emma...
Jackson read to Zae before naptime...
Luna slept like this for over an hour, haha...
New swim suits!
Josh had his first soccer tournament! They won 1 and lost 2 but he had fun! Hoping for a good year in soccer this year!
Chester just eating my draw string...
We were able to go watch Tegan play volleyball! She is so fun to watch and I can't believe she's a SENIOR this year! I remember when I met her she was 4 and so stinking adorable. I am proud of the smart beautiful unique woman she is becoming!
Went out with our neighbors/friends to dinner while our six kids hung out at home. We had a great time with Jenn and TJ and when we came home...the house was in one piece! Looks like this will become a frequent thing. It's been so nice to have such awesome next door neighbors. The boys love playing with their sweet girls and Parker and I really get along well with Jenn and TJ. We also enjoyed playing games with them. Well, I enjoyed it. TJ...well he doesn't like to lose. :) I'm sure we'll have a rematch soon!
Brody is finally warming up to the kittens!!! Yay! They've played and cuddled! He only hisses at them when they play with his tail which, his whole 13 years of life, has made him mad. We don't know what happened to his tail because he came that way when we got him but it seems to hurt when you touch it. The funny thing is he is constantly wiggling it back and forth so it is so tempting for kittens!
We had family game night and Tyce, of course, picked Twister...luckily mommy gets to be the spinner. :)
Then it was the kittens turn...
Haha Josh sleeping funny...
Back to School night was Monday! It was good the boys were able to meet their new teachers and learn their way around a new school.
Tyce has Mrs. Hamblin...
Josh has Mrs. Fisher...
And Jackson has Mrs. Coffman...
It's pretty cool that 5th and 2nd are in the same hallway so all three of my boys are together!
Haha Tyce cracks me up in these pjs..
First day of 5th grade...
First day of 2nd grade...
We've started letting the kittens into the garage and they LOVE it! They'll spend most of their day in there. The other day I came home to this and I thought Chester looked so stinking cute in the one patch of sun...
Luna trying to get Brody to play...We are slowly but surely getting stuff hung on our walls. Tyce insisted we hang this picture he got from when Grandpa Bybee died above his bed because "I know he's somewhere up in those clouds watching me while I sleep." That boy has such a tender and spiritual heart and knows how much Grandpa Bybee loves him even though he is gone.
And one last kitten picture...
