June!

We had a super fun flag football season with Parker as head coach!  I think we only lost one or two games all season!  The twins had fun playing with their friends and their dad.  :)

Leave it to Auntie Jenn to give Audrey her first ice cream cone!  Needless to say, she loved it and she LOVES Josh...

Theo just sunbathing...
We celebrated CHRISTINE turning 30!!!  Love this sister of mine so so much!
For Mother's Day my sweet mother in law made me these!  I love them so much, now to decide where to hang them...
Poor kiddo has such bad allergies so this was his solution to sleep...
It has HAPPENED!  Jackson is TALLER THAN ME at age 12 (almost 13)!  He has been close for a while but now it's official.  He was pretty excited.  It is very weird to be eye to eye with your child.  Luckliy I wear heals a lot so I'm still taller than him in those!

Cute way to sleep...

Nap time...
Wehad Linds and Christine's kids over to play one night and broke out the new giant Jenga game...

Sunday afternoon snuggles with this guy are my fav, but he was sad when I had to get up to make dinner...
Happy Father's Day to Parker!!!  It was a low key day but he was spoiled with sweet cards from his adoring sons...

We got Theo in hopes he would replace Brody and give someone for Chester to cuddle with but it hasn't really happened so when Tyce saw them KINDA cuddling he took some pics...

Provo rec center with the cousins!!

Yet another concussion for Jack!  He was jumping on Lindsay's in ground tramp and he flipped and hit his head on the metal bar that surrounds the tramp.  Poor kiddo...
And more bad news...our dang water heater leaked allllll over the new basement carpet!  It was only 4 years old so it was unexpected and frustrating...
We need to get Jack a bank account ASAP, this kid has almost $1000 cash in his drawer!!
Since we aren't going to McCall this summer (the house was booked) we decided to do a little family getaway locally.  We started out with a yummy steak dinner at Texas Roadhouse...

Then checked into our hotel in North Salt Lake...

Thursday morning we got up and headed to Lagoon!
They rode this one first and I, smartly, sat out because I didn't want to be queasy the rest of the day...
Last year Tyce rode Colossus for the first time but that was the only big one he would do.  This year he decided, about halfway through the day, to do Cannibal which is the biggest rollercoaster in the park!  He LOVED it and we did it tons of times because the lines were short that day!

Before he got brave this is the rock he would patiently wait on for us while we were in line for Cannibal...

Log ride is one we will NOT repeat!  We got uncomfortably soaked and it wasn't even a fun ride...

Another one not worth the wait, the "haunted" house...

Tyce was SO proud of himself for "dominating the cannibal."  He's bit more cautious than the rest of us so I know it took a lot of bravery for him to go the first time.  He said, "now I know I can do anything!"  When we did the initial drop (see at the top of the tower in the picture) he closed his eyes and held on tight but after that his hands were up and he was hooting and hollering it was SO cute!  I'm happy because even though he was always so good about waiting for us patiently I always felt guilty so now we can all go on all the rides together!
After 8 hours at Lagoon we headed to dinner at Southwest Cantina Grill...
Then checked into our hotel in Ogden...

Friday morning we headed to Ifly to do the skydiving simulator...

The boys loved it (Parker and I didn't do it to save $) and, of course, want to do it again.

We got a groupon that included the rock wall and flow rider as well...

Then we grabbed ice cream and went to see the new Aladdin movie which we all loved!
It was a super fun little getaway that we really needed as a little family.  My boys are at such fun ages, fun to be around, easygoing, sleep in, self-sufficient, not too cool for mom yet, still appreciative and excited about little things like a hotel, pool, and continental breakfast.  Certainly not as much fun as McCall but we can look forward to that next summer!

Double rainbows driving home from Neola...
Gorgeous sunset...
