Christmas Fun...

We had a really fun Christmas week out in Neola with Parker's family. We went out there Tuesday and came home tonight just in time to do all my laundry and re pack so we can head to Oregon tomorrow morning to see my family! So since I am waiting for my third load to dry I figured I may as well catch up on my blog before we leave!

The boys had so much fun making a gingerbread train with Gramma and Tegan...
Christine and I were in a silly mood and thought we'd do some hilarious wrapping, 1970's hello!?
Christmas Eve Bart read the Christmas story from the Bible while the kids acted it out, Joshy was Joseph and was SOOO cute! Tegan was Mary and Cole was baby Jesus. Jackson fell asleep so he was laying on mommy instead...
All the girlies in the fam, including Grandma Bliss who is 93!!!Christmas morning was so fun, I swear I was the most excited out of anyone because the boys were SO excited and SO cute! I couldn't wait for them to see what Santa had brought! Here we are at the top of the stairs before we came down to see everything...The Batman Castle from Santa was definitely a hit! Josh plays Batman and Jackson was playing house with it, "mommy me make you some cheesecake in the micromave!" Hahaha! Not surprisingly, they were THRILLED with their stocking candy...
They liked their Hokey Pokey Elmo...
They got SO many presents I can't believe it! They were really excited about their Loony Tunes spin toothbrushes from Gramma Barraclough and their snow boots from Gamma Morrill! Haha! They also loved their new books and toys. They were adorable and it was so fun to watch how excited they got with each new present!

Later that day the boys went sledding behind Grandpa Morrill's tractor! They thought they were so cool and brave! The whole time Jack was saying, "me brave me brave!" They had so much fun with Auntie Tegan in the snow, they are so lucky to have her!!!
This morning the guys went out shooting and had "fun" I guess, haha. Those of you that know me know that I am NOT a fan of guns in general but, Parker had fun and look how sexy he is with a gun!!! Hahaha...

It was a wonderful weekend and it was so fun to have everyone together. I am so lucky to have in laws that love and accept me (although they will probably never accept my being a die hard BYU fan! Hahaha!) Thanks for a great Christmas everyone!!!

Off to Oregon we go bright and early, wish us luck on the 12 hour drive with the boys in the snow!!!!

Josh's Prayer...

Last night we let Joshy say his prayer all by himself for the first time, it was precious...

"Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for Jesus, mommy, daddy, Jackson, me, the baby, my football, and my arms. Thank you for popcorn popping on the apricot tree. Please bless spring brought me nice surprise blossoms popping before my eyes. Thank you for popcorn ball that would smell so sweet, wasn't really so but it seemed to me. Name of Jesus Christ, Amen."

Hahahaha, it was SO cute and hilarious! We tried to keep our laughs in so he wouldn't get embarassed or stop his prayer but it was so hard! He was so proud after he finished, "mommy me say my prayers ALL BY MYSELF!"

I love my boys and I LOVE their prayers!!!

Fight FOCA!

I had made the decision not to put any more political posts on my blog due to the DRAMA it created last time! However, I feel so strongly against abortion that I want everyone to know about what Obama plans to do. On a side note, I find it interesting that so many people (especially those that attacked me on my Obama post) said that Obama "is NOT pro abortion." Unfortunately, he misled his voters as he has announced he has full intentions of signing the "Freedom of Choice Act." I received this email that explains it...

As most of you know, last night Obama made a public announcement that he is going to sign the Freedom Of Choice Act, which will allow all types of abortions including partial birth abortions, also allowing babies who are born alive due to botched up late term abortions, to be set aside without any medical care or nourishment and left to die (most of these babies have no medical problems and most of the ones that do, have things like cleft palates, club feet, things that are correctable, still they are murdered in the most cruel and inhuman way. They feel everything that is happening to them. There is more mercy for dogs that are put to sleep)

This Bill also will make it mandatory for doctors and nurses to perform this murderous act even if they do not want to do so. This act also allows under age teens to have an abortion, even partial birth abortions, without parental consent.

Catholic Bishops have pleaded with Obama not to go ahead with this horrible murder of innocent babies. They have also told Obama that if he persists in signing this Bill which would require even Catholic Hospitals to perform these acts of murder, they will have no choice but to close all Catholic Hospitals.

Please let us join with these courageous Bishops who will go to any length to change Obama's mind. Please take a minute to sign this statement and let our voices be heard. This is a great, informative website. You can click on the video of Obama's speech to the Planned Parenthood group where he promised that the first thing he would do if elected President would be to sign the Freedom Of Choice Act. He isn't even in the White House yet and he made a statement last night that he will go forward with his plans to sign this outrageous bill. He still can change his mind because the Bill cannot be signed until he is actually the President.

Please let your family and friends know about this Bill and ask them to also sign this petition. Even those who voted for Obama would not want him to sign this Bill. Most important, please pray for Obama's true conversion to Christianity. If he doesn't change his atheistic ways, may God have mercy on our country for the sake of the millions who would never agree with this Bill if they fully understood all that it encompasses. Please click on the web site below. It will take less than a minute of your time, doesn't cost anything and God will bless you for standing up of Him and His commandment, thou shalt not kill or ANYTHING like unto it.

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good people do nothing"

Yep, I'm Pregnant!

You all heard Jack and Josh right, we are pregnant!!! We are SO excited about it and the boys have been so cute. They talk about "mommy's baby" all day every day and Jackson keeps asking to see it, haha. I tell him he can see it in 7 months and he says, "ok mommy, me hold baby when he (or she) comes k?" They'll be such great big brothers! I am about 8 weeks along and go to the doctor on the 7th for my first ultrasound, and to see how many babies are in there! Odds are there's just one, but ya never know! My due date will be the first part of August.

I was feeling great until about 2 weeks ago, now I am SOOO tired and extremely sick to my stomach for most of the day. I had such a great pregnancy with the boys, I was never sick or tired (until the end when I was huge) so I guess I was expecting that again. NOPE! Guess I can't get lucky twice. But it's all worth it, we are just so excited to have a new addition to our family!

Parker accepted the job offer in Washington DC so we will be moving there either in May/June or August/September, he can start whenever so we are still trying to work out the details. Needless to say, moving while super prego or with a brand new baby across country is going to be difficult so I don't know what we're going to do. Parker will take the bar end of July and then he'll be DONE STUDYING FOREVER!!! I am so looking forward to that day.

So that's the update, life is going to be hectic for us for a while but we are so grateful for another special spirit (spirits??? 1, 2, 3, 4????) being sent to us and we are so grateful that Parker got a job offer, with this economy that in and of itself is a huge blessing. Merry Christmas!!!!

Frosting Sugar Cookies...

Last night the boys and I headed up to Bountiful to make cookies with my sister Dana and her kids, we all had so much fun! The boys love their cousins and they really loved frosting their own cookies!

Every time I went to take a picture of Jackson he was licking his knife, haha...
Ok, same with Josh...

Here's my Abbi Lynn, the perfectionist...

This is Jack's "surprise face"...

I caught him in the act of frosting not eating...

Mommy and Josh...

Josh loved the sprinkles, sorry about the mess Dana!!!

Mommy and Jackson...

Cute Mason and his cookies...

The finished product...

We had a lot of fun, I love hanging out with my sister and doing fun things with the kids.

On a different note, Parker got offered the job at the SEC in Washington DC!!! Great news because it was really his top choice but he also had an interview in San Jose yesterday so we'll see what we decide...

Annual Morrill Christmas Weekend...

We had a really fun time with Parker's family this weekend! Ever since Parker was little they have had the tradition of going to Salt Lake for a weekend close to Christmas and staying in a fun hotel. I've been to five now and every single one has been a blast!

On the way to Salt Lake, Jack was scared of the dark so Joshy held his hand...SO cute...

Joshy showing off his muscles/ribs...

Friday night we all went to dinner then the girls went to see Twilight! I really liked it, although it was not even close to as good as the book but that was to be expected so I wasn't disappointed.

Saturday morning everyone went swimming and just kinda hung out around the hotel. In the afternoon the whole family went to a nursing home to visit the elderly and help them write their Christmas cards. Unfortunately, it was during the boys nap time so we had to stay back but it sounds like they had lots of fun and that Parker had quite a few old ladies wanting him. =) After that we went to a yummy dinner at the Outback and then off to bowling!!! I love bowling, even though I'm not usually very good, and the boys were SO cute! Joshy would dance after he knocked down his pins! Hahaha, it was precious. After that we went swimming and then to bed.

How cute are Parker's sisters...

"Mommy, Uncle Shaneee sad because he didn't knock ANY pins down!" Hahahaha...

This is how Joshy would wait for his ball to come out, so precious...

Parker and his mom...

Christine, Chase, and Baby Cole...

After bowling we went to the arcade for a while, Jack had fun driving...

They played this forever because they couldn't get the balls in so they kept rolling back!!!

Of course Josh wanted to play basketball...

Cute family picture....
Sunday morning everyone went to the Christmas Music and the Spoken Word at the Conference Center. Again, the boys and I stayed back because Josh was sick that night and I was worried about him. However, he ended up feeling fine and we went swimming and had fun. After everyone got back we got all packed up and Mom gave us our ornaments. Every year she gives everyone a special ornament that pertains to something that happened that year, I LOVE it! Jackie and I also got more pieces to our nativity, which I LOVE also!

Here's my Willow Tree Nativity, it looks so pretty on top of the piano!

Here's the ornament we got this year, for those who didn't know, Parker's grandma passed away a few months ago and so Michelle made us these to remember her...On a random note...today Josh's nose just randomly got a red dot on the end and we have NO idea what it is or what it's from!!! He looks like rudolph!!!

Anyways, it was an awesome weekend and thanks SOOO much mom and dad for all your hard work and generosity. I love my in laws and feel so blessed!

LASTLY.........................PARKER IS DONE WITH FINALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could not be happier to have my husband back and the boys could not be happier to have their daddy back! ONE MORE SEMESTER AND HE WILL BE DONE FOR GOOD! YAY!!!!!

Precious Moments...

I was changing Jackson's diaper this morning and he looks up at me with the sweetest look on his face and just says, "Heavenly Father, thank you for mommy." It just melted my heart! Being a mom is a tough job, but it's moments like that that make it all worth it for me.

Grandma's Night...

Growing up, I was lucky enough to live 10 minutes from my Grandma and Grandpa Bybee, which meant I got to see them a lot. I have so many memories of our grandma's days and grandma's nights where we were spoiled rotten and always had so much fun! I always felt lucky to have a grandma that was young and full of energy! Anyways, last night I was able to have another grandma's night! No, we didn't go to Nelson Park or stuff our faces with sweets, but it was still a wonderful night!

We went to the Timpanogos Temple for a session and it was so nice! That temple is absolutely GORGEOUS and it was so nice to have 2 hours of peace and quiet to reflect on life and feel the spirit. After that we went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, and it was SOOOO yummy!!! We were there till almost 10pm just talking and it was so nice, just me and my grandma, there's nothing I can't talk to her about. I love fall and winter time because they live in Utah, but they're going back to Oregon soon. =( Thanks for a great night Grandma, I love you so much!!!

Cute Joshy...

One of the things that always makes me laugh is when Josh wakes up, either from a nap or in the morning, because he staggers into our room carrying as many toys, stuffed animals, and lalas (cloth burp rags) as his little arms can carry. It's so cute because he's half asleep but still manages to collect all the toys he can, then cuddles with them in our bed. I tried to get some pictures, these were the best I could get....
Here he is with about 12 lalas...

Here he is with his favorite toys, his train, hammer, bear, lalas, and stick...

Laying in our bed with his stuffed animals...

He cracks me up! Speaking of Josh and sleeping...I think he's getting out of the nap stage...PLEASE SHOOT ME!!! I love my boys but I need their nap time to get stuff done, rest, and have alone time, so I am dreading not having that! He's been up all day today and could not be happier! Let's just pray he'll go to bed tonight earlier and easier than usual, haha, wishful thinking!!!
