I Am Thankful To Be a Stay at Home Mom

Today I am grateful that I get to wake up to these three guys... I am thankful I get to change their poopy diapers, clean up their messes, wipe their tears (and noses), give them bandaids and kisses when they have an owie, make them meals and beg them to eat it, give them cuddles, be with them in the morning, afternoon, and night. I believe that being a stay at home mom is one of the hardest jobs on earth. However, I also believe there is nothing more rewarding a woman can be doing with her time. No I don't get paychecks, promotions, or awards but I get a "my mommy makes the bestest dinners." Or "I love you THIS much mommy." Or "I don't want to go because I will misted (miss) you too much mommy." I feel so blessed to be able to be with my boys as they learn and grow and I never miss a thing. I am the first thing they see when they wake up and the last thing they see when they go to bed, and I wouldn't have it any other way. They are growing up way too fast and I try to treasure this time with them because I know that, all too soon, they won't hold my hand or cuddle on the couch with me or ask me to read stories with them. I am so blessed that God sent me three healthy, loving, special boys that I get to call mine. I love you Jackson, Tyce, and Josh!!!

Beautiful comments, Jenn. You are wise beyond your years. Your job is the hardest and least recognized, the most beneficial to individual growth and the strength of society, and more closely approaches Godlike service than anything else. A mother like you exemplifies sacrifice, selflessness and unconditional love. The challenge remains to do this every day! I am so very proud of you.
