Josh went golfing with Parker and Shane...
Black Butte! We went over to say goodbye to my grandpa and grandma Bybee's Black Butte house because it is now up for sale...
It was really sad...
Sitting in Grandpa's chair where he would rock back and forth, look outside at the beautiful view, and say "Jennifer, this is my favorite place to be." I was overwhelmed with a sense of loss when I was there and miss him so much...
Then we headed over to a park...
"Auntie Jenn will you please take a picture of me on this swing? My mommy loves pictures of me on swings." Haha, this girl is such a cutie I could never say no to her!
Josh hard at work on a 700 piece puzzle...
Our friends...
Grandma paid the boys each $1 to smash all the cans...
Kate and Tegan passed out...
We learned how to play Pickleball and the twins LOVED it! Jackson and Shane...
Versus Parker and Josh...
Then we went kayaking/canoeing/paddle boarding! Josh and Shane...
Parker and Jack...
We switched around and Jackson ended up with Shane. Shane told Jackson he'd pay him $5 if he did all the paddling. Jackson, who LOVES a challenge and LOVES money, wasn't about to pass that up! He did it and Shane paid up!
Mommy and Tyce...
Tegan, Parker, and Shane paddle boarding. Shane was the only one that fell off :)
The boys LOVED the new Lakeside pool because it's 9 feet deep which is the deepest pool they've been to...
We also had the yummiest chicken on a stick we've ever had..
Movie night...
Family pic in front of the beautiful home...
Tegan and baby Lucy...
Jackson and Tyce playing Checkers (this was about 2 minutes before a major fight that resulted in checkers pieces being thrown and two boys spending lots of time in time out!)...
Our entourage...
Tegan, Shane, and Jackie...so cute!
After we checked out we went to lunch at The Gallery. Grandpa and Grandma Morrill sat with all the grandkids...
And we all had a relaxing meal :)
Then we walked around Sisters and found these cool dragons...
Jackson really wanted to buy one so he asked the lady how much they cost. She said $150. He said, woah nevermind! Haha.
They each had money from home and money they earned at Grandma's house to spend and it was interesting watching them. Jackson was very particular about what he bought and ended up only spending about $40. Josh spent $87. Tyce spent $125! He got some super cute Oregon gear that I think was money well spent. Here's some of the stuff they bought...
Then my parents came to pick us up and take us to Eagle Crest Had to get a pic with both my moms...
We had a FABULOUS week in Black Butte with Morrills and made some lasting memories. My boys still talk nonstop about the house, hot tub, hike, bike ride, and bunk beds. I loved watching them with their cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. I loved spending time with Parker's siblings too! SO grateful for Bart and Michelle for the wonderful home we were able to stay in and the fantastic week we had!!! Love you all and miss you already!!!
Next post...week in Eagle Crest!
