Day with Daisha...

My friend Daisha came to visit today with her 4 kids and we all had a lot of fun! Daisha and I have been friends since kindergarten-she was the first one to be nice to me when I moved to Salem from California and held my hand and walked me to the bathroom! Haha. We have many memories together like: "the man," daffodiles, ballet, and a super fun choir trip to New York. It's crazy that we're both on the east coast now! They're living in Richmond for a year so she made the 1.5 hour drive up to visit me! Yay! We chatted as much as we possibly could with 7 kids being crazy! Other than the cat food/cat water mess and lotion all over my bathroom floor (they were "skating") mess all went well. It was so fun to catch up with her and to have someone to talk to that knows me so well from so long ago!
K I just took this picture and I can't move it down to the bottom for some reason but this is them, about 6pm, on the couch OUT like lights. I cannot even REMEMBER the last time they fell asleep on the couch! They must've played really hard! Here's the boys, Dominic is just a few months older than Jackson and Josh so they all played very well together... Claire is only 2 weeks younger than Tyce so it was fun watching them interact. Claire is super chill and just sits there while Tyce crawls all over her lap, then she pushes him off...haha it was hilarious! I think Tyce was showing off too because he climbed up two stairs today for the first time! Ah!

Daisha and I...All the kids cooperated for a picture! Yay!My boys...

Thanks so much for coming Daisha, it made my week!!! =)

Lizard Fun...

Jadeh came over yesterday with her new lizard, Gandolf, and the boys were really excited about it. They pet it right away but were a little more hesitant about holding it. Josh was pretty brave and held it for a while. Jackson didn't want to until I told him he could tell daddy how brave he was and then he did it in a heart beat! Ah I have a feeling they're going to want a lizard someday, or snake, or dog...ahhh no thanks!

Here's brave Josh... Don't mind the mad look on Jack's face, haha...
Brave Jack, he held it JUST long enough for the picture...Beautiful Jadeh, Jackson, Josh, and Gandolf!

In other news, TYCE IS OFFICIALLY SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT! I've been hesitant to post this because he always seems to change his mind but for a while now he's been sleeping 8pm-8am! YAY! I actually am feeling better. I am going to bed much earlier, getting more sleep, and the iron might be helping a little bit. I'm still weak but not exhausted like I was. Yay!

Happy Easter!

Easter morning was so fun, the twins were so excited. They woke us up at 6:45am saying, "MOMMY THE EASTER BUNNY CAME! THE EGGS ARE ALL GONE FROM THE BASKET!" After waiting for the stupid video camera to charge we headed downstairs to look for eggs. They got excited every single time they found one.

They thought it was hilarious the easter bunny got in the cereal cupboard, haha... And the oven...
Jack found a pink egg!Their easter baskets were hidden in the dryer, here's Josh showing off his new underwears...He loved his new Magna Doodle...And they got the Chick Hicks car...Jack loves his Magna Doodle as well...Tycee crawling toward the chocolate bunnies...Jack's new jammies and underwears...They loved their flip flops with jelly beans in them...Joshy was chowing down on chocolate eggs...Jack loves his new "tractor" underwears...Tyceroo...

Once all the excitement had died down I actually had kinda a depressing day. I missed my family a LOT. All the Morrills were together in Neola and most of my family was together at my sister's house and it was hard to not feel left out and lonely. I just love being with family so much and I know my boys miss their aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and great grandparents. I worry we're all going to be forgotten out here and that breaks my heart. The boys kept asking why they didn't get to go Olivia's birthday party, or Lindsay's birthday party, or why they can't go throw rocks in Grandma Morrill's pond with Tegan and Christine. It's hard being out here alone. Ah, now I'm all depressed again. Ok sorry, HAPPY EASTER!!! =)

Pre Easter Fun...

We had a fun day today and I thought I'd blog about it now because I'm sure I'll have tons of pictures to post for tomorrow!

Last night I did my easter bunny shopping and got everything all put into the baskets, the boys each got a Magna Doodle, underwear, jammies, and a little candy. Tycee got baby food and new shoes, haha. This morning I took the boys to a local grocery store for an easter egg hunt down the grocery aisles. It was cute and the boys had fun...
Showing off their bags of eggs...They also handed out free easter bunny cookies...After that, we went over to our friends Lee and Lisa's house for a lunch bbq! The weather was gorgeous and we ate outside on the deck. The adults had fun chatting and the kids had fun playing (and ended up all watching Toy Story). Tyce fell asleep on Parker, which he never ever does! Daddy didn't mind ONE bit! Then we came home and dyed easter eggs! It was fun, Jackson dropped his favorite one and...needless to say...that was the end of the fun for him. But here he is with daddy before all the drama...Joshy and his green egg...Best buds... Then we caught the end of the last Saturday conference session and are now waiting for dinner to finish cooking. We are going to talk to the boys tonight about Christ, his death, and his resurrection so hopefully they will understand why we celebrate easter. Parker has the priesthood session tonight (it's 8-10pm out here!) so I'm on my own to play easter bunny. I love holidays with kids though! I swear I get more excited than the little ones! More to come after tomorrow!

Tyce is 8 Months!

I really can't believe my baby is 8 months already! It's especially depressing considering I haven't lost my baby weight yet and it's been 8 months! Ah! Anyways, Tyce is doing well. He eats solids 2-3 times a day and a bottle 2-3 times a day. He's a great eater (there's nothing he wont eat) and is quite the tall chunk! He is wearing 12 month clothes and they fit him perfectly.

He takes two naps a day and goes down easy for them, which is nice. He usually sleeps through the night but lately he is teething so he is grouchy and having a hard time sleeping at night. No fun!

He still army crawls all around the house. In fact, I think he'll be like Parker and just army crawl then walk. He doesn't seem very interested in crawling on his hands and knees. I think part of it is that we have hard wood floors and they hurt his knees. because I see him crawling around in his crib which is soft. He LOVES to stand, it's his favorite thing to do. He's getting more stable and takes a few steps with us holding his hands.

He is still a pretty happy little guy, but I think he'll be happier when he can walk. He really wants to play with his brothers. He ADORES them. His face literally lights up when he sees them or when he hears their voices. He will just watch them and be totally entertained. He also loves his daddy and loves when Parker throws him in the air. He loves to have his tummy tickled and loves peekaboo. He is constantly babbling, which I love. He is friendly to anyone that will hold him.

Well, I think that's about it! I'm not sure how big he is but his 9 month check up is next month so I'll update then.

Here he is pushing the shopping cart, one of his new favorite things to do... I tried to get a few pictures before his nap but he's pretty tired...

I love my Tyce!!!
