Grandma Morrill, once again, braved GRANDMA'S CAMP 2014 with six kids ages 8 and under...all alone. The kids have been looking forward to this for a long time now and it sounds like it met or probably exceeded their expectations! Here are a few, ok a ton, of pictures...
Here they are before they left...Jackson, Josh, Cole, Tyce, Kate, Kai, and Grandma...
Silly faces...
And they're off!
Working on the Grandma Camp sign...Lunch in the cabin...
Checking out the "bathroom," apparently Jackson had to go so all the other kids followed to check it out...
Love Josh in his bandana...
They all loved collecting rocks and Grandma had to encourage them to not pick EVERY rock (they thought each and every rock was very special)...
Tyce was a huge fan of his visor...
They had a flag ceremony every morning, said the Pledge of Allegiance, and had a patriotic thought...
They must have played hard because they all had great appetites!
Crafts...
Love the rules, Tyce's was #11...
Ever wonder what exhaustion looks like on paper?! This is it...
LOVE this picture...
Smores...Games...
Off on the hike...
My boys LOVE to hike, they all three said the hike was their favorite part of camp...
Stopping for lunch...
More games...
Parker, Jackie, Christine, Shane, Chelsea, Bart, Tegan and I went up to the cabin the second night to join them for dinner. Jack was super excited to see Parker since he had just flown in that day...
The "after" picture and YES, if it's even possible...Grandma looks even PRETTIER than at the BEGINNING of camp!
I am so grateful for Michelle and the time, effort, planning, patience, and energy it took to pull this off. The cousins had SO much fun together and made lasting memories.
